Silverlink Trains Class 313's on the now closed North Woolwich Branch. The line was closed from Stratford on the 6th December 2006 after the nearby Docklands Light Railway branch to Woolwich Arsenal was opened which paralleled the line. The branch had been offered as a preserved line for the North Woolwich Museum as well as a test track. However the route will eventually be used by Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) trains when it opens in the near future.
Bonus
There is bonus footage of the closed North Woolwich Museum. The museum was closed to make way for the Elizabeth Line.
From the Archives Series is a collection of films taken between 2003 to the present day. Originally intended for use in our A&J Video productions, they were left on the shelf until now.

I honestly think it's a shame the North Woolwich Line had to close. The way it ran parallel with the road through Silvertown was quite interesting. Plus that museum at North Woolwich Station looked so cool!
I always wanted to visit north woolich station as a child.. guess the clisest Ill get is the dlr now

Great bit of history you filmed here when the North Woolwich Station was a Museum. Shame it's all gone now. I hear the station building is Grade 2 listed and hopefully it will be put to some railway related use, although it is literally on a bit of a dead corner there :( its a shame an arm of the DLR hadn't extend there originally before Crossrail came along.

I did prefer the older livery that the DLR had.
A fantastic video, great memories. I did the last day of the Stratford to North Woolwich, a good day - then flew to New Zealand the next day.

Hi There Again it is Mr Cannadine T. Boxill-Harris, I have another interesting idea for most of you Class 313, Class 314 and that also is including those interesting Class 315 Fans out there, rather than scrapping most of those Class 313's Class 314 including the Class 315's maybe you guys can convert them and including the refurbishment into those Leyland 680 engines, Volvo B10M Engine, Scania N112 Engine, Cummins M11 Engine, Gardner 6LXC Engine, Gardner 6LXB, Engine, Gardner 8LXB Engine, Class 313's, Class 314's and the Class 315's and convert all of them into a 2 Carriages and Three Carriages of the Class 313's, Class 314's and that is including those Class 315's for most of us Class 314's and the Class 315's Diesel Train Fans Pretty Please Are you still going to do this interesting type of Project for all of us out there Please?

@B.P.M.R Why doesn't any new train company in the uk uses a similar livery as silverlink?
It would have been a great idea.
The only other toc that had similar colour scheme was central trains but that had the same parent company as silverlink.

Where did that miniature railway end?
The miniature railway went the length of the platform at North Woolwich. Some of the track and rolling stock ended up with us at Brockwell Park.
