I absolutely love “video shopping” with you and am quite impressed by your thorough coverage. It’s as if I’m right there with you having a glass of champagne. I have to say though that I find most of these items by luxury brands to be quite gauche, not particularly interesting and lacking in imagination. They’re just factory made mass produced things that have little cultural value designed to keep people in debt.
I don’t know if you know the jewellery designer Anabela Chan but she makes amazing iconic pieces that are museum worthy which are accessible and in a reasonable price range. I also quite like the philosophy and ethics of her company. I loved your coverage of idyl jewellery and I sometimes wish you would feature these smaller designers more who might not be as well known as the current luxury brands. I’m sure in Canada, there are many emerging fashion designers who could be featured on your channel.
