If fishing rough ground then yes mate but longer for cleaner ground

Do you use a stop knot to hook the fish on your pulleys ?

So a short pulley here is 2 foot 6 either side with a weak link of a foot or so

My ray pulleys are 8ft total length so these little ones for hounds prob 4ft max
