The Germans had a 31,5 inch Gun in WW2 (I guess everyone saw a picture of it once). Its granades were able to punch through one meter of solid steel. This ship would have only laughed at that.

1:46 - "Although even at 1000 meters the AI can still dodge them" You aren't kidding. One time I made a ridiculously over-the-top torpedo battleship and was firing about 40 torpedoes at a time against only other battleship targets to see if torpedoes were even viable to use. Not a single one hit, the AI instantly knew as soon as a torpedo would fire (which I had that sonar for my ship...) and instantly knew where it would be and when and just maneuvered their huge battleships like Zamboni machines around so that the torpedoes would always miss them within feet. It was infuriating to watch.
Germany: builds an enormous super-battleship with the thickest armor in the world. Also Germany: sends their super ship without any escort against a Japanese heavy task force. Super ship: dies after sinking 4 enemy BBs Germany: I see this as an absolute win. Honestly, this really seems like a Bismarck 2: Nazi Boogaloo.
I'm imagining the scenario: After victory in world war II Germany and Japan were dividing up the world. But with disputes over borders and colonies, tensions were rising. After a few years and a couple of super battleships build, a Japanese task force accompanied by the "Odin" were sailing in the Pacific, hunting remains of an Australian pirate fleet while in Berlin and Tokyo the diplomats were struggling to contain a crisis concerning the ownership of the former Netherlands colonies in the Pacific. Eventually the negotiations broke down and war was declared. The message of war arrived at the task force soon after and so the former allied ships suddenly turned their guns at each other in order to surprise the other. And so this battle started.

So I just tried to recreate this ship design with the new armor and ammunition schemes in the update. I have placed all of the values as identically as possible on the left hand selection. Where the old value was split (example: belt extended now has belt extended fore and aft) I made them identical. Where there was no value previously (Superstructure) I left as default (2.1") And without adding even a single gun, the ship is now overweight. If I drop both belt extended values to 25" instead of 50", suddenly I can match the design in this video almost exactly! I think there may be a glitch in the armor computation where the deck extended and belt extended were duplicated, instead of split (roughly) in half.
