It has nothing to do with the latter and everything to do with the former. Most ppl can’t handle alcohol or prescription pills yet those are not only legal but also heavily pushed on the unsuspecting public. It’s all about controlling thought.

Free thought as a result of medicines for the mind are certainly not favored by the elite. Cannabis and psychedelics question the materialist paradigm and biased views of society. They make us question our OWN small-minded points of view and I have met some users who are quite irresponsible and immature with their drug practice. There are cases of harm (such as self injury, running around, driving, paranoia under the use of said substances) to society as a result of some peoples level of development. The laws make these underground which attracts some poor elements of society, which I am not against, however there are consequences regardless of perhaps good intention.

There is a war on “certain” drugs. They don’t mind drugs like alcohol, tobacco, caffeine and prescription pills.
