Lovely garden tour! New subscriber here. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!
The key is to try to work with nature. I appreciate the plant choices you have made. Also your garden looks very tidy, unlike mine. What state are you in?
Nashville, Tennessee! Thanks! We always say "think about nature"
Strips of chicken wire taking tines and clipping upwards... hold the chicken wire down using metal landscape fabric clips .... plant your plants running your lil strips on in between plants... you can lightly cover but careful you don't use like big chunky mulch so the critters get in and they get poked by wire tines..they won't go back to that bed
On your website you suggest not planting asparagus or rhubarb in a raised bed. But here you say you’ll be doing it in your garden. Can you tell me what would be the pros and cons, and a situation where you would want to grow them in a raised bed?
It's really just an issue of space and whether you're okay with having plants that need to stay in your raised beds much longer than all of your other annuals. You'll notice I like to break all the rules, even my own!
Just found you on Instagram and your channel. I am so looking forward to seeing all your videos and learning from you. We are just starting our gardens and need all the inspiration we can get. Cheers from Costa Rica!
