I really think he just wants to play & interact. My boys will go after each other & wrestle around, but they're not fighting. When one of them has had enough, they'll let the other one know. Even when one has the other in a headlock with his teeth (😂), it's not hurting. Once in a great while, one will bite down a little too hard & the other will yell & they break. I haven't seen Kai get aggressive. The others just don't want to be bothered at the moment. ❤️😻❤️

He's trying to show his dominance with the other cats. I don't know his story but if a kitten is bottle fed or taken from their mum and siblings too early they don't learn when another cat is telling them to stop so they carry on and on.

I believe your mom is letting Kai watch too much Cartoon back at her house for e.g., Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, or even classic Disney short cartoons especially Donald Duck and the two chipmunks Chip and Dale. I'm not a cat owner but really wanted one but our locality was not safe for domesticated animals due to the lack of proper veterinarial clinics or hospitals, but I do have adopted a female Alexandrian parrot and watches a lot of above mentioned cartoons especially Tom & Jerry and Batman related animation shows and the Lego Batman movie,it's her favourite and because of that she has over the course of 5 years learnt a lot cartoon shenanigans and has caused some rather spectacular ones. Can't say I'm not proud of her for learning said shenanigans because I was one who let her watch so many episodes and movies. So yeah in the end I would say he is starting his mastermind arc there.

I had a cat just like Kai with same looks and personality, very territorial. Kai feels your energy, and knows you worry about your cats. Reason why his animal instinct kicks in. I agree! I have two brothers who alternate at being very aggressive with each other. They honestly do alternate...I agree, at the end of the day Kai is trying to play and fit in. He's just like the poor kid on the playground who wants so badly to play and fit in, but doesn't quite know how to. Let them work it out...they will, and no outside interference is needed unless someone is really being super aggressive. And yes, Chase may need a little space from Kai from time to time. I watched this video twice and then let my cat watch it twice. Judging by her (my cat's) flinching and ears perking I believe she and I are in agreement that Kai was the instigator.
I have 4 cats in the house. And they all instigate against each other. I think they're just bored with being in the house. Nobody gets hurt. There's a lot of noise as usual, but they also play a lot. So it's hard to say whether he's an instigator or he's an only child wanting to be part of. The family

We all know that Kai is such a bully. His true colours always show. The mom is always the last to know. Poor Chase gets a bad rep, just because he's vocal and is a take action kind of cat. He's not your typical selfish cat that runs away at the first sign of trouble. He protects Millie and Taj, and even Skye, even tho he's afraid of her 😂🤣PS If Chase is 'aggressive' towards Kai that's bc he wants to protect himself and his household from Kai the little terror. Chase has learnt his lesson from before. Everyone except the mom knows what Kai is really like. Chase is actually a very affectionate cat and is not aggressive at all, unless there is a reason for him to be.
