I will show you how to fly drones for the first time so if you are a beginner then you want to start here! Learning how to fly drones is a fun and rewarding activity and if you follow this tutorial you will be well on your way to flying and filming wit your new drone in no time!
Flying a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone can be an exhilarating experience! Here's a basic guide to get you started:
Pre-flight Checklist:
Ensure the battery is fully charged.
Check for any visible damage on the drone.
Verify that the propellers are securely attached.
Make sure the remote controller is charged and connected to your mobile device.
Location:
Choose an open area with minimal obstacles.
Avoid flying near airports, crowded areas, or restricted airspace.
Check local regulations and permissions for drone flight.
Power On:
Place the drone on a flat surface.
Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn on.
Connect to Remote:
Turn on the remote controller.
Open the DJI Fly app on your mobile device and connect it to the remote controller.
Calibration:
Follow on-screen instructions in the app to calibrate the compass and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit).
Takeoff:
Press the takeoff button in the app or gently push the throttle stick upwards to lift off.
Ascend slowly to a safe altitude.
Basic Controls:
Use the control sticks to maneuver the drone:
Left stick: Controls altitude (up/down) and rotation (left/right).
Right stick: Controls forward/backward movement and
sideways movement.
Practice flying in different directions to get comfortable with the controls.
Safety Tips:
Keep the drone within line of sight at all times.
Maintain a safe distance from people, buildings, and other obstacles.
Be mindful of weather conditions and wind speed.
Capture:
Use the drone's camera to capture stunning aerial photos and videos.

Landing:
Slowly descend the drone to a safe landing spot.
Gently reduce the throttle until the drone touches down.
Power off the drone and remote controller.
