I am a ballet dancer in my thirties from Spain. I listen to Elvis since my childhood, my mother was not a particular fan and neither was my grandmother. I can only say that his voice, his eyes, movements…captivates me. As an artist I know that people can have a talent, even more than one of course, but these are not always linked to this huge personal magic... Elvis was truly a masterpiece, a true delight in its essence, beyond the physique, beyond the appearance, his charm and magnetism is timeless, it will cross the time for generations.
I agree with all you have written. Elvis captures your heart. He gives depth, tenderness and warmth to his singing. Not like today’s one trick pony. His talent was, is and will always be immense!
I listened to Elvis when I was a kid, a teenager, an adult and now I'm in my sixties and listened to him more now than ever. A great artist who spans the ages.
I have read most of the comments,it is so nice to read all the great things you have said about Elvis. I have been a fan 65 years and have seen him go through a lot of changes. He changed but also stayed the same ,He was a big part of my childhood, my sister and I had a horrible childhood and his music was our refuge. He helped get us through a lot of lonely ugly nights,That is why l think it is wonderful that so many people love his music. Of course there are some who have ugly things to say but I don't even give their comments a second thought, they won't change how I see him .He was truly an amazing talent no one compares and I have had 65 years to see if someone could measure up to this beautiful, humble country boy who became a super star and no one does or has.I have God to help me through the hard times and he is always there when I need him,but still I listen to Elvis every day ,He just makes me smile
Same to me, he help me throu my sad and lonely childhood and any other hard Times. With the help of god, but only Elvis voice with his GospelSongs open my heart and soul, to come close to Jesus.now i am 61 and still addicted to listen to Elvis. Thank you for everything
Nice to hear all of your thoughts. Nice souls. We all love Elvis, a humble country boy, yes, we are so lucky to have him in our life. Lucky to meet him through his music.
I still can’t get over that incredible charisma that surrounded him. Almost like an angel s circle over his head. I’m talking about him as a performer not a human being which I know he was. I went to Graceland last year, thinking about him now. To think a young naive polite young boy from Mississippi would end up with this iconic status is unbelievable. A real life Star Is Born, . Elvis was discovered by accident, he went to Sun to record a song for his mother. This wasn’t like Americas Got Talent. A genuine discovery. Which happens rarely now. No doubt there were more gifted talented artists, but he had something no one else had that attracted people to him. Just that Name Alone ELVIS PRESLEY is unusual but his real name. He went through three generations too, 5O, s 60, s and 70, s and he was still regularly on the radio. But it was 70, s that made him icon ic. He was an entertainer as he said. He didn’t invent rock roll blacks did. But he started white culture on a wild ride, do your own thing, express your self. To watch him develop from a baby face singer, movie star, to a handsome chiseled man, his baby fat gone was wonderful. Of course we lost him young. Incredible amount of work for only 22 years. 47 years, though V there are some great talents today, still nobody comes close except perhaps Mick Jagger. His death was such a world wide shock not just Memphis. But Memphis the next few days was filled with out of towners, records sold with in hours, sovineer hawkers, flower shops sold out. People stood outside Graceland pretty quick, amazing how found out probably radio or tv. Vernon graciously let them walk by Elvis for a few hours, but they had to end as was getting out of hand, probably why they buried him so quickly. Usually takes about a week for a funeral. I think Vernon thought better to bury as soon as possible. He had a remarkable career, and never realized how much he really was loved, he knew he had fans , and would have been absolutely shocked at outpouring of grief. Colonel Parker was even shocked, and Elvis, s crew. They worked for Elvis like a regular job. So they didn’t appreciate the other side the fans perspective. Joe Espisito said he could not believe the grief he knew Elvis had fans but he’d never seen out pouring of grief like this. So even on the inside the crew never realized just how popular Elvis was.

Elvis wasn’t the ‘king’ just😢 because he was handsome and sang…it was h😅s ability to sing with his heart! And, he reached out to his fans and gave back the love. He enunciated every word with passion and we knew his tenderness and subtle glances were meant to please his fans. Elvis was a true Christian and a gentleman! I will love him forever as do my daughter and granddaughter and all my friends that are 77!
Such a tender special song by the amazing Elvis Presley! We all have somebody that we think of and remember even more when this song is played. 💕🌈Elvis!
I did not know that he had died , until the next day , I had the radio on in the car . I did not know a bout his life style , I had known men that had heart attacks in their forties , back then , so I figured that it happens . I then attended seminars , with people that worked for Elvis and they spoke of his over consumption . The best question , that Elvis was asked , was by a one of his girlfriends , when she saw all of the pills , she asked him if he was sick and if he was not why was he taking drugs ? The main problem Elvis had ,is that he was a very hyper person and it killed him . I couldn't believe it when he died , because of all of his energy.
I saw Elvis perform in 1972. My ticket was only $5.00. I'm thankful I saw him. Elvis spotted a little girl in the crowd. He took one of his diamond rings off, and had a stage worker hand deliver the ring to her. It was an amazing event to witness his kindred heart.
@@bernadettenewsham8916Yeah, he had a very heart of gold. He was special, no doubt about it. His most pleasure was to help people in need; he didn't need to know who need help, he just fulfill the need. And most of his charities were non-public. Amazing man, love him.

I've loved Elvis since I was 5 yrs old, and this is one of my all-time favorite songs, ever. We were fortunate to have Elvis, even for such a brief amount of time, and nobody will EVER come within miles of the sound of his voice, range, vocal abilities and feelings he put into each and every song. I was so incredibly lucky and blessed to have seen him in concert when I was 16, and it's one of the best memories of my life! Who do our kids have, now that Elvis and his counterparts are no longer with us? Who will they remember as the all-time greats of their youth? Justin Bieber? Shakira? They don't have anyone as great or as timeless as we had with Elvis. That's why I play his music for my granddaughters -- and they absolutely LOVE Elvis! He'll always live on as The King! 🤴
One of my favorite Elvis songs. I dedicate this song to a lady I loved in my youth. She will never really understand how much I loved her then and, now. " I'll remember you long after this end of summer is gone".
I miss my Elvis so much,He warms my heart and brings a tear to my eyes.I was 18 when he left this world and I have never really gotten over it.I love how he turned and gave that beautiful smile to one of his band mates. It was like he knew he sounded great and he felt so good inside. He was a beautiful man inside and out and truly a gift for all of us.His music will always go on and keep touching the hearts of anyone who listens to his songs.
My father said he remembers being at a park in waterbury ct and his friend ran up to him and just said.. the king died. He said he sat on a bench and cried. He was 16.
The look was because he nailed the key change.. He was worried about missing the key change on such an important show.. World class performance and it's my favourite moment ever in music.. The greatest ever !!
I.ll remember you as if we could forget him..i am now 74 and in England and have loved him forever. Never got to see him live but maybe in the next life. I live in hope xx
Going on 54 years for me the king has owned my heart. Anytime I'M feeling low I just watch and listen to ELVIS and like magic he uplifts my spirits. I hope he knew how much he was loved and appreciated.
No fancy voice overs, no trick mics, no voice enhancement tools. JUST PURE ELVIS, no other voice can touch this.

Elvis wasn’t the ‘king’ just😢 because he was handsome and sang…it was h😅s ability to sing with his heart! And, he reached out to his fans and gave back the love. He enunciated every word with passion and we knew his tenderness and subtle
glances were meant to please his fans. Elvis was a true Christian and a gentleman! I will love him forever as do my daughter and granddaughter and all my friends that are 77!
Such a tender special song by the amazing Elvis Presley! We all have somebody that we think of and remember even more when this song is played. 💕🌈Elvis!
Old is gold. Hes second to none
Who’s can forget such a touchable moment?!❤❤😢
Many could probably write music but only Elvis could tell the story, forever the King.........
The world was a better place with him in it...hes still so terribly loved and missed
I wasn't even alive, but I agree
I listen and watch Elvis every day . were his shirts that my daughter buys me and my sons for Christmas -He is The Greatest
Yes of course, he missed us around the world always and forever!
We'll remember you Elvis, the voice of your heart so tender, so sensitive, so lovely!
ELVIS MAKES MILLIONS HAPPY EVERYDAY. WE WILL NEVER FORGET ELVIS AND HIS CHARISMA 🙋♀️🇦🇺🎸🕺💃❤♥️

He’s the most beautiful man,how I wish I had met him 👑💕
Imagine being there... listening to the best voice ever..
@@ireneduke5022 That is a beautiful thing he did and a memory she will always treasure. It shows he had a heart of gold.
I use to think about this so many times… :'( and maybe take from him one of his scarves!
@@bernadettenewsham8916Yeah, he had a very heart of gold. He was special, no doubt about it. His most pleasure was to help people in need; he didn't need to know who need help, he just fulfill the need. And most of his charities were non-public. Amazing man, love him.
@@ireneduke5022 I also read how he did that to a young girl when she caught his scarf and a lady stole it off her
44 years ago today still remember the spot where I was standing when I was told he had died, still listening to his music today!

Did you know that Elvis bought his way into the show just like everyone else? And he was the star. That shows what sort of person he was.
What entertainer today would do that
@@davemagwood7509 None. That I can think of anyway. He was the best and always will be.
I'll remember you Elvis.. ❤
Wonderful ............ I couldn't get enough of listening to it ...... !!!
I’ll love you always, promise always to remember you 👑❤️
51.... and gonna meet this man soon.👍🙏
One of my favorite Elvis songs. I dedicate this song to a lady I loved in my youth.
She will never really understand how much I loved her then and, now.
" I'll remember you long after this end of summer is gone".
Those close ups .. the way he sings that beautiful song... just heart-melting with love ❤️

Beautiful smile, beautiful heart
I miss my Elvis so much,He warms my heart and brings a tear to my eyes.I was 18 when he left this world and I have never really gotten over it.I love how he turned and gave that beautiful smile to one of his band mates. It was like he knew he sounded great and he felt so good inside. He was a beautiful man inside and out and truly a gift for all of us.His music will always go on and keep touching the hearts of anyone who listens to his songs.
Hello Dorothy, How are you doing?
My father said he remembers being at a park in waterbury ct and his friend ran up to him and just said.. the king died. He said he sat on a bench and cried. He was 16.
I was 18 too very sad day 🥰🥰
The look was because he nailed the key change.. He was worried about missing the key change on such an important show.. World class performance and it's my favourite moment ever in music.. The greatest ever !!
The look was to Lead Guitarist, James Burton. Elvis knew they’d nailed that key change and was acknowledging the fact.
Always touches me too.
I.ll remember you as if we could forget him..i am now 74 and in England and have loved him forever. Never got to see him live but maybe in the next life. I live in hope xx
I’ll love u always, promise always to remember you 👑💋
A beautiful man..inside and out.
