A lot of people are afraid they will be left behind. It's a natural fear. It's not because they don't trust God, it's that they don't trust themselves.
If you have faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, accept that he suffered and died on the cross to pay for our sins, repent of your own sins, you will not be left behind. I wish the bible was written in modern English instead of Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic, and in the context and grammar we use today, but it wasn't. If it was we would understand with zero effort that is all that is required to be a part of Christ's church. His 'bride', and he will collect us before the tribulation because we are not assigned to God's wrath.
Yep, I'm afraid sometimes I'll be left behind because even though I have faith and accept Christ, I am still a sinner. We all are, so we all have fears and doubts.
1 Thessalonians 4:18: "Therefore comfort one another with these words."
John 14:1-3, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
1 Thessalonians 5:9: "For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Romans 5:9: "Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him."
Revelation 3:10: "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth."
So do not fear. Live in Christ and have faith. God's got this.
