Incredibly well captured the atmosphere, NY videos in the rain at night always make me melancholy. Simply unbelievably beautiful, thanks for sharing. ♥️
The Heart of Saturday Night by Tom Waits perfectly captures that melancholic feeling. I live in England and one of my favourite things to do is walk around the city at night while listening to that album, if it rains it's a jackpot.
as someone who loves this feeling but doesn't feel safe to walk alone at night, THANK YOU!! this is one of the best night walk videos I've seen, great work
Having lived in New York for over 30 years, one of the many things I love about it is you can go out for a walk, a run, or whatever, at midnight, and definitely get something out of it. The environment is still alive, and you can still see things and do things. Your day is over whenever you want it to be.
I've always been amazed by that rainy, neon lighted, midnight NY City mood. I hope to live it by myself soon. Question: Is it safe to walk like that in NY at that hour?
NYC* as whole isn't dangerous. Especially not Manhattan. Don't listen to the noise. People who day things like that are either from there and like to flex they're from a rough area or it's people who just hate on cities as a whole.
@@lanalvr2413 As an european, who's been in NYC a few times, this is actually interesting and funny. It is not wrong, but at @10PM, it just gets empty. Everyone kinda vanishes and things close... I had an hard time finding somewhere to have dinner at 11:30 PM (had just landed), in brooklyn and even across the bridge.. Here, in Portugal, at least, things stay widely open 'till 11PM, especially restaurants - which usually stay open past midnight. I have never felt threaten in any way, shape or form, while walking in Manhatthan, though. though it does have some streets more sketchy than others.
I took my first trip to a big city last year right before covid started, at no point during my trip did I feel threatened, I even struggle with anxiety, but somehow I never felt anxious there either.
@@lopesmorrenofim you were in the outer boroughs that’s why most places were closed.. but in Manhattan there’s always something open on any street at any time of the day or night..
My mom had never been to New York but watched the Central Park video you took and she liked it very much. Thank you! Your video is really cool. Please keep a good video!👍🏻👍🏻
«Эта расслабляющая музыка служит напоминанием о том, что нужно наслаждаться жизнью и наслаждаться красотой вокруг. Я обязательно сохраню ее в своем сердце и постараюсь больше отдыхать в ближайшие дни. Большое вам спасибо».
Thanks so much for sharing I honestly felt like I was there. NY is my dream city. I pray to God I can go one day. BTW I have a quick question what is that smoke on the ground? I have never seen such thing in Mexico or at least in my city hehe greetings!!
Hi @Italiabells - Thanks so much for watching the video. Glad you enjoyed it:) It's water vapors coming from the ventilation systems. Steam provides heat and cooling to many buildings in New York. Some New York businesses and facilities also use the steam for cleaning and disinfection.
@@IURETAe You're very welcome. I discovered your channel the very first day of the year and I have seen your videos everyday since then. The quality is movie material and I feel like I'm actually in NY. And thanks so much for answering my doubt. Everyday We learn something new. 😄 Have a good day.
I live in Brazil, in a small town in the south west. I spent my entire childhood watching movies that takes place on NYC, so It's been one of my big dreams (the kind of dream that you really don't expect to come true) to live there since I was a kid. I am 18 years old now, starting to figure out my place in the world, or at least, in the small, cruel and pointless world I live in. I love my country, I love my people and everything that comes with it. I really wish that my dream comes true eventually, I can picture myself living in a midtown small apartment, with a stunning view of the lights and the streets by the night. Sometimes I think that life is all about this, hoping that better days will come, dreaming about the headlines and different faces on the street, expecting that some day the world will be exactaly like your 8 year old you imagined. Well, if life is not about knowing that all people get to live in a world of their own, what is it about? Just keep believing, keep on hoping, some day things will be fine, and we all will be like the children we once were. I'm looking forward to that day, the day I'll be able to look back to that little brazillian kid in a small town in the south west, and say: we did it! Thank you if you read this.
4:26 What the hell is the smoke coming from the lid of the sewer? I can't see anything like that in Seoul where I live. Some half jokingly say the tourist spot in New York is that smoky sewer lid. - k from seoul
It’s a little bit sad seeing the city so empty cuz usually nyc it’s always busy even at night on a rainy day there’s so many business that they closed down due to the Covid you can see on Times Square sometimes I miss the freaking noise of the people and traffic and how crowded the city is that you can even walk with out stepping on somebody else path, miss walking on Times Square with my friends making noise at 2 am lol 😪😪

There's something about rain in New York, that makes this city already amazing look so dreamy and more beautiful. Feel like watching a movie.

nyc is best at night..or when its raining at dusk
yeah it’s a beautiful city.
That is the reflex of the light what make us see it more shining and beatufull

It’s so nice to be able to appreciate the city without all the annoying crowds of people. It’s beautiful
the people make up the city, loser

Nice walk at night in NYC. The effect of lights in surrounding areas is amazing. I enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing.
I dint know what it is, maybe how smooth your videos are, the editing, whatever, but you are amazing at this. I really appreciate what you do.

Question: Is it safe to walk like that in NY at that hour?
Heck yes it is! Especially in time square at night, they have a light show and everyone is shopping and eating and having fun.
