I mean it just stops showing the notification but it's still working on the background right.If don't stop the app then no use the turning of notifications it will just drain battery and you wouldn't even know why.

No it's not hidden bro..fairly it is in privacy protection settings under many settings and it is very hard to get to this settings to be honest so this app helps and take you to this setting easily
