Anyone who reaches out to a radio show to hit up someone you went on a date with and stopped talking to you, I’m sure it reassures the person on why they ghosted in the first place. People have to move on. Love this show so much, but I’d get freaked out if a guy did this to me….

The person who doesn’t have the awareness not to stand on a chair on a chair probably generally doesn’t have compatible sensibilities with him for a relationship.
Oh my god I’m losing it. Seriously, she stood on a chair 😂😂😂. I would never have the balls to do something like that even pull my phone out and start taking pictures, not even allowing my date to touch their food. I’d die of embarrassment and she was clueless 😂😂😂😂
I don’t blame the guy at all! That’s incredibly rude of her. If that were me, I would 100% feel like I was boring her or even lacking somewhere, that she feels she has to turn to social media-in the middle of the date! Social media has completely stripped humanity of its couth & class.

Wowwww! People actually do this on DATES?! Let alone 1st dates…I barely do it when I’m out with friends. Like social media has folks unhinged. Talk about cringe. Wtf would a man you’re on a date with need to tell you don’t be a dumb as and standing on the chair in a “nice restaurant” as she stated to take pictures of the food. Like girl he’s better than me. Wouldn’t have gone on the 2nd date.
Seems like they are focusing more on the dates, but to me this is more of a lifestyle issue. Yes he could have told her it bothered him and she could have taken less pictures on their dates, but in the long term she’d probably still want to take pics and post stuff in the future. If he’s not big into social media it seems like that could be an issue in their relationship long term. As he said, better to find someone who appreciates her for who she is.
People act like if he told her during the date she would have taken it well 🙄 she obviously has no self awareness since she didn't even think that taking the photos was an issue.. or even that standing on a chair at a bar/restaurant was an issue..
Yes he could have communicated to her that he wasn't interested. But let's not act like he's a total dbag.

As a woman who loves taking pictures, I'm annoyed by her actions. It indicates that you care more about the status and fine things he could provide you than getting to know him early on.
Yeah, sorry, I’m with him on this one. And I agree that this may not annoy everyone, but it definitely would put me off. I know my now husband wouldn’t have liked this when we first started dating, it just seems so superficial. Put the phone down and enjoy the moment.

I never have understood why ppl post what you are eating…nobody cares, they are being polite!!! I am Gen X, so I’m a bit older, BUT when you go on dates, please either silence or turn off phone…if you are messing with their phone, it tells ppl that they aren’t really interested in person…ALWAYS pay attention to whomever you are with…our society managed to live 2000 yrs without a mobile phone, you can do it for a couple hours

I'm a picture taker.... I am a photo journal girl, has nothing to do with social media.
"Thanks for letting me know what you need"?? Come on now. All you'd be thinking is "why is he trying to control me", or most women would at least. His response is one of conditioning and fear, and knows what most women would do, which is why he ghosted.
We need to start thinking for ourselves here. Which do you agree with, of these two; opposites attract OR like attracts like? You have to choose to live a certain way. And what about these; absence makes the heart grow fonder, OR familiarity breeds contempt? So there you go. We hear axioms of Truth on both sides and try to excuse one side or the other when, in fact, BOTH have Truth in them. So you either take one position over the other, or stick to the middle. Most pick a side. That's un-Correct, and lack perspective, which is why she can't See what was weird enough to ghost her. Notice that she didn't mention the weird she did but noted that he wasn't a big social media guy? She just happened to leave out the connection?? Nah, she knew. And she started her view with, "I was just..." It's not weird to her. It was HIS view that was strange. No, it wasn't. And her actions are flaky, at best.
No Tommy is not a bad communicator, the chick did not read the room or non verbal communications. Apparently either her parents did not show her good dating etiquette or she just picked up some bad habit along the way. Hopefully she'll stop standing on her chair to take good pictures of food and dinner and stop being rude. Tommy tapped it once, but never again.

If a guy wants to get to know you because he likes you, you shouldn't even have to be texting or calling him back. And you shouldn't be left wondering. He can't even man up and communicate. How hard is it to at least text you back, "I'm ok, but I think you and I just aren't quite a match."
Then block him & move on. Done deal.

Seems easy to speak up but to start criticizing someone or telling someone how to be 3 dates in would almost never go well.
That's the main reason I don't carry my phone on a date that's what I get many but when I'm on a date the woman is the center of attention I leave my phone at home because it's disrespectful to the other person to be on your phone during the date I know because I've had it happen to me and it really made me mad how are you supposed to build chemistry if you're constantly in your phone

*I honestly don’t get why people get so upset by ghosting. I learned at a young age that everyone usually looks out for their own interests and I don’t care question people or their motives m. I’d probably assume they died or something serious and I don’t care to have friends so it’s a win win situation.

@@frenchbluehen That should be everyone. Ghosting is not always a negative. People shouldn’t care to get closure from someone who doesn’t have the mental toughness to have a difficult conversation either way.

He still a coward? Well takes one to know, Bert. He don’t owe her a damn thing, no explanation, nothing. She as an adult should recognize where she went her otherwise she is a self centered person who can never see her faults. Plus women want soo much more than “things didn’t work” saying that doesn’t work for women. Also, women never take criticism to heart and actually change. What's wrong with ghosting someone? Back in the late 80s and early 90s that was the way you let someone know your not interested. Get over it and get over yourself. The gohster ows you nothing, MOVE ON!
Because it's so rude and disrespectful. And, in the 90s, men actually broke up with you. Don't act like this used to happen all the time. And, 9 times out of 10, then pop back up like a zombie wanting to see what's up. If you show no respect, you'll get none in return. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
