As a professional hair and makeup artist. I can say for a certain people with brown eyes can wear any color. We are the most lucky in this area. Color has more to do with hair, skin, and eyes, not just eyes. It's an overall effect.

I have dirty blonde hair with brown eyes. I also have Native American in me so I have a darker complexion. My eyes are on the darker brown side. Certain colors bring out the orange in them.
I go between hat and cold coffee. Depending on my mood

We brown eyed souls can wear any color! But my brown has copper in them rather than gold, so green makes them POP.
