Thank you. Followed along and was able to get it all up and running perfectly. Just one question - 'Thank You' cartflow page displays an 'Order Again' button as a part of cartflow shortcode [cartflow_order_details]. How can I remove the button?
Hi Alex, WONDERFUL Tutorial! One question, is there a way to put the courses in a different order on the grid on the "All Courses" page, it seems like the only edit available is "short code" thanks much! Sherry
Was looking for a video to start working on learndash, i guess this is a good start. Just 1 question, the flow of design is Learn Dash>>Theme(planning to use eLumine)>>Customize>>Add Courses, can i install the theme & learndash when working locally & then later migrate when i want to take the website live?
Very Interesting, thank you for the information. I have a question. If you install LearnDash on your current website, and then you install the theme, does this overwrite the current website theme or LearnDash creates an alternative theme just for the LearnDash plugin without destroying the current website theme and content? Thank you
Hi, I tried this with a Generate Press site in an earlier video it ua-cam.com/video/UVXuUeU84t8/v-deo.html - it worked ok for me. Learndash will make /courses and /quizzes folders for your content so it shouldn't disturb the rest of the site. However, always try this on a test site first! Don't experiement on your live site :)
Hey this question is not related to the video but l saw your videos on how to Dropship using wordpress and l want to ask a question ! When drop ship the same product again from the same seller in wordpress and use different address for orders do you have to send a message again to the same seller that your Dropship their item again or the seller will know thanks 😊
Looks like the Astra theme no longer has the options shown in this video. From the developer's website, it appears these options are now part of a paid upgrade.
Hi Alan - Learndash has always been a paid plugin (@0:45) For people who have LearnDash, they can use the Astra starter sites for no extra cost: www.learndash.com/themes-for-learndash/ If you'd prefer a free solution, check out my Tutor LMS tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/I8hlUInMzm0/v-deo.html thanks for watching, Alex
@@IdeaSpot Thanks for the reference. I purchased a LearnDash license a few days ago, and was just looking at theme options. Didn't know about the themes page on the LearnDash site. Was hoping to use the Oxygen page builder I already own, but may need a more targeted theme to start with until I get a handle on what the theme needs to do. The other issue I see is that my site already has content and I just need to set up the theme and plugins only without dummy content.
I see, thanks for the extra info, if you don’t want to work with demo content, perhaps try kadence theme - you’ll get a lot of learndash options within the theme customizer this way. You can build with either Gutenberg or elementor for sure but I haven’t tested Oxygen myself with learndash. I did a kadence leardash tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/RnU0RhsPLoc/v-deo.html
Hi there, I have a content heavy website for doctors. I want to create online courses to supplement what is up there. Should I install learndash to the content heavy website or create a new website just for the courses. I would like to keep everything together to be honest. But equally, worried too many plugins might slow the main website down and more likely to crash. What would you suggest? The thing is, I do have a brand and therefore want to keep it all together. Planning on installing BossBuddy too, but again, dont know whether to the one site or create a separate website just for the forums. Have you heard of it?
Hi, depends on how powerful your hosting is - with a lot of students it can put a load on your main site and slow it down. Check with learndash and your host to see what they recommend. They other way could be to setup a seperate site at courses.yoursite.com or edu.yoursite.com and scale that depending on the student count
@@IdeaSpot Thank you for the perfect solution. I contacted my host and they helped me set up subdomains for both the forums and courses. In that way, you don't have to pay for these subdomains (because they belong to the main domain) AND you set up a separate word-press installation on each of these - which helps keeps plugins and things separate and prevent overloading the main hosting site. So thank you. Main website will be something like www.mysite.com subdomain for courses will be like www.courses.mysite.com subdomain for forums will be like www.forums.mysite.com I also found out that you can have subfolders. They too work in the same way. subdomain for courses in that case would be www.mysite.com/courses subdomain for forums in that case would be www.mysite.com/forums You get the idea I hope. Just thought it might help others like the way you helped me.
Great video coming straight to the point without blabla
Excellent video. To the point, no fluff and easy to follow. Thanks!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Cool! Thank you for this intro!

This is legit. Thanks for posting!
No worries, i still think this is my best course building tutorial - glad it helps
Can you upload PowerPoints into the courses?
I don’t have an edit with elementor button at the top of the homepage. How do I get it? I have the elementor plug in

Do I need to buy elementor pro for this?

I didn’t try that method myself, but the Astra learndash academy method was super easy

one other question - what plugin you use for “free images from pixaba” and elementor integration - looks ace!
its from the starter templates plugin: wordpress.org/plugins/astra-sites/

Oxygen have a learndash tutorial on their site too, maybe try this: oxygenbuilder.com/tutorial/tutorial-online-course-website-w-learndash-oxygen/
Hello- thanks for the great video. Would it be easy to put Learndash into a personal website and sell a course ?
Yes, absolutely - it works well for existing sites, sorry for the late reply! Alex
