Good stuff as always Mr Daz glad to see that the Edale / Mam Nick video is up next.Been waiting for this one for a while. Thanks for keeping us all entertained !
Another grand film, thanks for making them Daz. You’re making me want aero bars. At our house we have bacon and egg butties one week and square sausage (Hubster is Scottish) and egg the alternate week. During the pandemic I struggled to get the square stuff. So I resorted to making my own, and it goes down a treat.
The aero bars are actually very comfy to use and offer a nice grip when climbing Sophie. The only drawback is fitting lights and things to them. Square sausages sounds good too. I'll tell Mike about em. Thanks once again for your support and watching this video.....
I going to show my age here, but seeing the fleeting mention the ‘Pennine Way walkers’ brought back memories of hiking it back in ‘86. The Wainwright’s book entitled me to 1/2 a pint at the finish. It probably wouldn’t buy a packet of pork scratchings now 😂 Keep safe out there.
The Pennines way is all across our local hills Tim. What was it like walking it back in the 80's. They have put slabs down a lot around here now on the boggy sections
Another fun ride Daz, one of my favourite rides, either way round, always prefer the clockwise route going up Cragg Vale, but the roads are getting worse, lots of cyclists out on the day, great to see, take care both, Alan.
Thanks Alan, I tend to go up the Cragg more than down it and like you said there are a lot of riders out and about cycling down the valley these days. Take care pal.
Great Video Daz, good to see you back out after your injury. Good to see Mike felt like talking in this one.. He's still not right though, shocked that he didnt want any black pudding at the cafe. 😂 Looking forward to the next video in the peaks.
It was just a gentle leg stretch and ride out James. No black pudding and no scone though! Hope you are enjoying the weather at the mo. It's great for riding your bike.
Well daz I have to say i didn't think a video about a bike ride could make me laugh I thought Mike's facts were... well yeah interesting.. the Romans who knew 🤣🤣🤣 keep them coming
Had a Dawes second hand bike in '60s.10 speed campagnolo drop bars...went all over York's. Dale's etc.. Happy simpler times ...dad paid 5 quid which was 2 weeks rent.!
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Wot no scones, or black pud?? Oh no!! Just made me chuckle Blackers was my nickname back in the day when I used to go to a place called school.
Nice one Gentlemen. Could you use your UA-camr status to ask Littleborough Clowncil to fix all those pot trenches between the Moorcock Pub and the centre of Littleborough? The road surface is absolute shite.
Great video as always Daz. Mike's a funny guy!!
Thanks Cwil, I don't think Mike is ever serious , even when the camera us not there !
Good stuff as always Mr Daz glad to see that the Edale / Mam Nick video is up next.Been waiting for this one for a while. Thanks for keeping us all entertained !
The Edale ride was a cracker with some really good descents Phillip . I will start to edit it soon.
Great video again Daz, nice to see Mike is back to his best 🤣🤣 😎🚴♂️🚴♂️👍
Thanks Terry 👍 We had a great little ride and a laugh along the way.
Fab video Mike should bring a book out 🤦♀️🤣🤣
And yes more videos plz xx
Thank you Jo, Mike's book might be a bit like painting by numbers but I will pass on your thoughts to him.

Hey Daz, you cannot deny the fact that Mike needs his own cycling channel. 👍😀
I keep telling Mike this.
Nice to have a classic local loop you can always rely on , great descent footage there pal , keep those wheels spinning
Yer, it's a popular one and has it all. A good climb, a good descent and a nice valley section . Hope you are keeping fit and enjoying the cycling.
Thank you - cracking video! That looks like tons of fun.
Glad you enjoyed it!
hahaha great funny vid that love it!
Cheers Jonathan , I will get Mike to be sensible on a bike ride one of these days.
The river conversion 🤣🤣,you two crack me up
We could have cycled a lot more if we didn't chat nonesense every 3 or 4 miles

What a cracking victory by G
Mike is a massive cycling fan of all the tours Shaun
This is so nice to watch, cycling at these speeds is so satisfying, keep up these videos!
Thank you Rxvert , will do ...
Excellent video again Daz and some interesting local knowledge about the rivers. Keep up the good work and stay safe on the roads. 👍
Thanks Steve, the river is really low at the moment.
It's a great little circular route to do in summer too.
You guys are a hoot when you ride together. It's almost like Christmas morning when I get a notification that you've posted another video.
Thank you for the kind words Roger. I am always trying to be the sensible one and
I don't think Mike tries to act daft though , I've never asked him

@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I walked it in June and only remember one day of rain. No more hiking nowadays because of a dicky knee,so cycling it is.
It's something I've always wanted to do
Hehehe had me chuckling bro excellent vid goodonya lad cheers
There's always a good river on every ride Tazy.

Lovely warm weather at the moment Jay, perfect to cycle 50 miles . Did you go through Helsby .

Hello Steve, most people tell me that Mike needs his own channel..... He's a good laugh on the rides .
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures he does Daz but you both bounce off each other which is great 👍
From wardle, through Hebden,up cragg vale down, black stone edge black home
The Cragg loop. It's got it all. Undulating, fast on the flat a good climb and great descent
Ive planned to drive up & do this cycle loop, but extend it up to Haworth.
The road between Hebden Bridge and Oxenhope is a cracker. It's a classic hill climb in the Pennines with a great descent.

Dawes used to be a big name back in the day. I used to look at a Dawes lightening racing bike in the shop window at Hebden Bridge.

Really, I would never have known that Di 😁
We had some Black pudding at the cafe in Chipping on Saturday so I guess Mike had his fix.
If I cycle up Blackstone edge, on my hybrid,I have to get off 5 times😂 but I am 72 and a kayaker
That sounds like you are doing extremely well to me. Keep on getting out and breathing the fresh air in the Pennines 🙂

Tell me about it, I went down there last night and it was horrendous. The council are getting better but some sections need a full resurface
They'll probably just surface dress it...........
Yes with crappy chippings !
good you s both getting out again daz and not stopping halfway up to chat sh*t haha
I think on this ride we could have got another 30 miles extra in if we didn't chat as much.
