Fatal Fury Special, known as Garō Densetsu Special (餓狼伝説SPECIAL, Hungry Wolf Legend Special) in Japan, is a 1993 fighting game developed and published by SNK and originally released for the Neo Geo arcade and home platforms. It is an updated version of 1992's Fatal Fury 2, introducing several changes to the gameplay system while expanding the available character roster.
Why is Retro's fights with Ryo in Fatal Fury Special always so *HYPE?!*
Laurence Blood is still probably one of *THE* most underrated characters in the Fatal Fury franchise IMO. He's the right-hand man of Krauser, has a pretty cool moveset that got even cooler in Real Bout, both of his themes from 2/Special & Real Bout are *BANGERS* (The former even got into Smash Ultimate!), and yet we know little about the guy & he hasn't even shown up since Real Bout or even got into KOF. I really hope one day someone at SNK will remember this GOAT of a matador...

I truly wish Laurence had been in crossover games with a better movelist and a more unique storyline (could have been a great rival to Vega). I hate that he was just a henchman who got beat up in 2 of the 3 Fatal Fury animes 😅😂.
I just wish they would elaborate on his relationship with Krauser and how he became his right hand man. Give him the Billy treatment.

@DouglasStewart99 apparently according to fiction lore, Laurence's family had always served Krauser's soo I guess it was just passing down a legacy 🤔
