No no no, Rani's character was definitely very very toxic. I find Abhishek's character too innocent for Rani. As he said in the movie Abhishek never made Rani feel less. But Rani always ridiculed him. Abhishek teased her with a friendly attitude, but Rani always went for his neck
People aren't cheating by watching this film😂 people are cheating by themselves. At least this movie has pointed some reasons but today's generation is more toxic than these characters. Bajirao Mastani also a cheating but you guys coupled those two as legends😂 Poor people.
Glad that Steph Stephanie is in the watch along rather than Rick. He would have had a meltdown about the adultery theme. 😅 And then a rant would have followed, like after he watched Silsila 😅😅
Fun fact- Rani's role was written keeping Kajol in mind but she turned down the role as she believed the story will not be well received by the Indian audience back then, and the movie tanked at the box office and it is the lowest performing directorial venture of Karan Johar.
@@raniii652 I clearly remember people hating KANK so badly. It was a guaranteed hit because of the big starcast and Dharma's budget. Any actress would say yes to a film with SRK and Mr. Bachchan without hesitatation. But many people still term it an awful storyline, even today.
Why in every SRK and/or Rani videos you guys always say the same old moronic shit every time? 'SRK treats Rani poorly, Rani is not chosen, Rani is left alone, Rani is done taking your shit Shahrukh!, SRK always chooses Kajol over Rani, Rani's love for SRK is unrequited' At this point these are all overused, tiresome annoying jokes + it makes no sense! Because bringing this up again and again makes it seem like this happens in every SRK and Rani movie when it literally only happened in K3G. That was the only movie where Rani's love was unrequited and he chose Kajol over Rani. But that doesn't mean Rani was mistreated by SRK in K3G or in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He did not leave Rani for Kajol in K3G (they weren't even together in the 1st place!). And he definitely did not leave Rani for Kajol in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. It was Rani who left the world and him. Rani's love for SRK was never unrequited in KKHH and he did not choose Kajol over Rani in KKHH. It was Kajol's love for SRK that was unrequited in the 1st half of KKHH. SRK's character Rahul was literally chasing after Rani's character Tina and paying more attention to her over Kajol's character Anjali. He said I love you to Tina and used Anjali as practice. Even while he was comforting Anjali, he grabbed Tina's hand as she was walking away. Him and Tina got married. Just because she died that doesn't erase their time together, memories, their love, the fact that she was his wife. It doesn't mean he never loved her. He would have likely spent his whole life with her if he could have. He was broken after her death. You could hear the brokenness in his voice and how much he miss her when he said "She's alright because she has something I don't. Her mom's letters". He stayed single for 8 years after Tina's death because he couldn't imagine loving anyone else the way he loved her. If Stephanie or Indrani died would you feel their deaths automatically erases your time together, your memories with them? Would it mean they were never your wives and you never loved them? No right? So why would it for Rahul and Tina? Rahul didn't go after Tina because he couldn't have Anjali. He didn't love Anjali romantically in the 1st place. When he was practicing with Anjali to say "I love you" to Tina he said "I hope I can say this to her". Anjali asked "to who" and he answered "Tina. who else?" because Tina was the only woman he loved romantically. He did love Anjali in college but only platonically. He was with Tina because he was attracted to her and in love with her. It had nothing to do with Anjali. He only wanted Anjali after Tina died. Anjali was in love with him in college but it was unrequited. If he was really in love with Anjali since college, he would have been looking for her. You guys were wrong in your KKHH review. You must have misunderstood the movie because you don't speak Hindi. Probably you had bad subs. It was not the 1st and last time you misunderstood an Indian movie. PS: There are more movies where SRK and Rani are the main or supporting characters and they end up together than not!

The film didn’t do well? Where does Korbin get his information from. The film was a major commercial success, ranking as the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of all time overseas at the time of its release. The film was screened in over 1,200 cinemas worldwide, grossing a total of ₹1.13 billion ($37 million). It was also screened at the 31st Toronto International Film Festival and the 19th Tokyo International Film Festival. A recipient of several accolades, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna led the 52nd Filmfare Awards with 23 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director (for Johar), Best Actor (for Khan), Best Actress (for Mukherji) and Best Supporting Actress (for Zinta), and won Best Supporting Actor (for Abhishek Bachchan).
Karan Johar is a phenomenal director!! But the unsung hero of the film is it's screenplay by Karan Johar. Each dialogue by Niranjan Iyengar is chosen and placed carefully along with impeccable music cues. The music by SEL, Cinematography by Anil Mehta, editing by Sanjay Sankla and the choreography of each songs.... especially Tumhe Dekho Na...is absolutely masterful. For a film for it's genre it can't get better than this. I particularly am a fan of rom coms and imho Karan Johar is the best director for this particular genre and he doesn't get enough credit. What a filmmaker and what a legacy ❤

Yep, it’s a story with problematic main characters and no one actually tried to make them look good and romanticize it, which I really really love
Agreed
SRK was pretty toxic too so they were made for each other lol. I dislike this movie purely because of the topic.
Not really. He always belittled her, made her feel inadequate, wasn't there for her, didn't understand her. He was a toxic manchild
She didn't wanted a friend. She wanted a lover.
For the first time I see people understanding that all 4 characters were toxic rather they weren't good for each other.
SRK was a college athlete and played soccer before switching to cinema
can't wait for the next part..🤣🤣
omggg i don't care, i love this film!! ❤❤ i
lol who’s editing these videos? no way korbin is putting those authentic memes in between😂
Please react FANAA, Aamir Khan and Kajol, that Kajol was rejected this movie for FANAA, but she keep the cameo for this movie
