I am in ky Martins is about an hour and half away I go there every year to get my garden supplies you can’t beat there prices any where else. Love the video
Hello @tamieboblitt7324 and thanks for your comment. We brag on Martin's just for that reason. We get no paid endorsement from them, we just like to share the good deals we come across with our viewers.
Hi Mickey and Kathy. You were about an hour away from me when you went to Martin's! I have to do a count on containers later, I may have to order more electroculture. I added blackberry and raspberry containers, so I may be short! Good to see a video from you, all my starts are sitting outside, soaking up the sun today. Have a blessed evening ❤
We were happy to see your videos again. We have purchased quite a few of you copper rods and shared them with our daughters and grandchildren who are just getting interested in planting a garden. They worked so well, we did experiments on some hanging baskets and the difference was amazing. We have pictures if you would like to see the difference. My husband is wondering if you are planning to sell any of the blackberry or raspberry plants you are propagating? Or are you just selling them locally? Thank you for making more videos, we learned a lot from last year’s videos !
Hello @bettyangstadt4242. We remember your order and we would love to see your pictures. We have sold some of the perennials, such as the blackberries and rasberries, as scions and bareroots online on our website but we are sold out for this season.
MICKEY AND KATHY I received your copper antenna, I was one of the winners from deepsouth homestead I live in ontario canada 🇨🇦 I haven't started my gardens yet but when I do I will let you know how they are doing in my garden. I love you container set ups they look amazing
@mycrookedlittlehomestead8703, First of all CONGRATULATIONS on your winning the Electroculture 100% Copper Coil Antennas from Danny and Wanda @DeepSouthHomestead. We love those guys and consider them and their viewers like family. We are looking forward to hearing your results with Electroculture in your own garden in the near future. Happy Gardening!
Hey yall @waydownyonder8446. We love us some Dickson County and we are there alot since our county has no big box stores! Thanks for watching and hanging out with us! Happy Gardening!
We have a few of the electroculture rods from you. We are currently only gardening in raised beds with no soil touching the ground and various pots. The plants in the containers with the electroculture are growing better than the ones without.
Thanks for your comment @heysuz701. We enjoy seeing the various ways gardeners are finding success in their unique growing environments, using electroculture methods. Thanks for sharing your results. Happy Gardening!
I started electroculture last year and it was amazing. I have learned that I need to put out more copper coils and I did get more copper from a house. The old cables from the tv. Actually I got from 3 houses so I'll have enough this year. I'm making a bigger garden this year I just bought a house so I can make it much bigger than in an appartment building.
We love your ingenuity @nathalieleblanc-ek8gs recylcling copper like that and thinking outside of the box. Great job and Happy Gardening in your new space!
@@hillsmillhomestead I had no choice. I wasn't going to take my good copper that I need to make jewelry lol. Copper costs a lot of money and now it's double what it was pre 2020. So yeah I recycle everything I can and I keep my seeds for next year because they are very expensive when you plant a little of everything. Last year, I didn't coil them like you did in that video but this year I did and they're all clockwise. I had some clock and some counter clock so I straightened them all out and redid all of them.
Thanks for the kind comment @dareil2000. We've been working pretty hard getting ready for Springtime planting and Farmer's Market just around the corner.
We really love the flavor and performance of the Amish Paste. We did notice that had Amish Paste seeds at Martin's Produce Supplies in Liberty KY. You can call them and place your order over the phone. We purchased seeds from them and they were delivered promptly. Probably not too late for your growing zone in NC.
Catching up on some videos and everything in the tubs is looking good back then. I won some of your rods from Deep South Homestead and also purchased some for this year as well to try in containers. We are just getting planted here in Montana so I'm excited to see how the plants I'm using the rods on will compare to those that I'm not. Since this is all new to me, is there a book about electroculture you would consider a good resource?
Hello @jan2565. We are so happy to hear that you are giving Electroculture a try in your growing environment. Let us know how things go in your garden this year. Happy Gardening and thank you for watching our channel.
Your commoner antenna is working for me. Going to need to order more as soon as I can. Your nursery set up looks fantastic. Garden way ahead of mine here in Indiana but my cabbage and onions already planted and doing fantastic with your copper antenna.
So glad to see our good friend @beverlymichael5830. Thanks for your kind comments and we are happy to see that your garden is off to a great start. Happy Gardening, Beverly!
Hello TheBzybees great question. The antenna will affect an area of 3 feet in diameter so I use 1 antenna in the middle of my containers. Thanks for watching our channel.
My bright copper has changed to dark as it does. So can’t see them in the containers. Could I paint the coil (but not either end) with bright spray paint so I can see them. You think they would still work?
Hello @ThyBzybees. We are not certain how the paint would affect it, it may be difficult to get the paint to stick to copper. It does still, however, work just as well tarnished as brand new shiny copper does. Maybe tie a ribbon around it? Let us know if it works for you. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
I am a subscriber, and I am very interested in your experiences. But I live in Europe and order antennas may cost very expensive, do you think I could make some? Thank you !
I saw a comment on another link that mentioned that these antenna produce as mush as 1 amp per either1” or 1’.. I can’t find that now so do you know how many amps they do produce in a certain length ?
There is one natural volt of electricity received with every 1.5 feet. Hope this clarifies your great question. Thank you for watching our channel. We appreciate you.
It would be fairly expensive to ship our antennas to you. We are happy to give you an estimate. Go to our website email and let us know your address and how many you wish to purchase and we can submit to you your shipping estimate. Thank you for your kind comment and for watching our channel. We are grateful.
Hello @larrybailey43. You can find us on the world wide web . HillsMill dot com. UA-cam will not allow us to type the link in the comment section here for some reason.
Jeff here from the mountains in western Arkansas. I was skeptical because of the nonsense out there and then I stumbled onto your videos and they make sense. Having worked as a plumber all my life it occurred to me how the anode rod in a water heater works to collect minerals to increase tank life, and I wonder if these antennas work in a similar manner to draw minerals for easier uptake by the plants, your opinion would be appreciated. I must also add, after doing my own tests with tomato plants, I seen noticeable differences in growth in the first week. The first thing I noticed was the leaves on the tomato plants went from drooping to standing up, in 24 hours, then the obvious growth rates were overwhelming. Thank you for sharing all you do and for educating those of us who now see the results. Looking forward to your next video already.
Hello Jeff @emilypulled312 thank you for your comment and careful consideration of Electroculture. My results have come from years, actually decades, of attempting various methods of Electroculture which is how I have come to the design of many of our Electroculture methods, including the Electroculture 100% Copper Coil Antenna that we sell on our website.

I have started Jet Star tomato for my garden.
Thanks for your comment @deborahrutherford5244. We really love the performance and taste of the Jet Star tomato variety. Enjoy!

What do the antennas cost?
You can find all the information on our website at HillsMill dot com.
@@hillsmillhomestead thank you sir
They look counter clockwise to me. If you were to take the straight wire and continue winding it around, its counter clockwise.
All of our antennas are made clockwise.
