    Blackjack told me about a story where he and Andre were rooming in a hotel room together that Mulligan's buddy owned.Andre leaned over to him and said let's fight.Mulligan said ok but let me take my boots off.So Mulligan took off the boot and caught Andre with a good shot and knocked him over.Andre then picked up Mulligan and slammed him into the ceiling.In the ballroom next door the patrons could hear the thumping until they both crashed through the wall and continued out into the street.Andre then said "You're ok Boss Let's go to sleep now." Classic

    I like hearing the story where Smash of Demolition talks about an Andre/Mulligan incident where Mulligan had it in his head that he was gonna knock Andre out,,he goes over and punches Andre in the jaw & Andre asks,whatd you do that for?! they proceed to get physical and Andre throws Mulligan out of a hotel window,leaving him him hanging some 6 stories up,holding onto to Andre while Andre says you gonna stop now?..lol..dont mean to speak ill of the dead but its been said Mulligan was known to sucker punch people alot back in the day

  • @theiconicmr.perfect7499

    this exact same story has been told so many times by so many different wrestlers will claimed to have witnessed it, which means there must have been about 30 or 40 wrestlers in that hotel when everything started. But each wrestler tells their own version of the story that is slightly different from the others. And I think Manny just combined the hotel fight story with the story of Mulligan sucker punching Andre in a dressing room somewhere, and not only did he combine two different stories but he claimed it happened at his apartment.
    Manny has definitely been hit in the head for a lot of years

    The reality of it all. Who in the hell could stop a giant who didn't want to be stopped? No one! End of argument. And to this day, did Andre ever get tested for his strength? The stories on Andre are legendary. From flipping cars to his brawls with Blackjack Mulligan, who was 6'9" 430 lbs. And he would own Mulligan in every fight. That is sick! And then the drinking stories. Wow! We will never see another giant like him again!

    Andre wasnt 7'4.

    • @MrK623
      @MrK623 2 роки тому +4

      He was generally around 6'10. His large head and hair made him look bigger. You can see how tall he is
      when he is standing next to someone in a photo and you know how tall they are. Hogan, Chamberlain, etc.
      Of course because of his bad back when he got older he lost a little height. When he was a kid (early 20's) he was probably at his peak height 6'11- 7'0. As he was able to stand up straight. After he passed away his body was measured at 6'9.

    • @robmiller931
      @robmiller931 2 роки тому +1

      @@MrK623 letsnot forget as a person grows older it looks like they are shrinking because their backs and necks tend to give way,im sure with Andres medical condition,it was even worse..even Ernie Ladd who was a legitimate 6'9" said Andre was definitely taller than he was by a good few inches

    • @MrK623
      @MrK623 2 роки тому +2

      @@robmiller931 Yes. But the point is Andre was never 7'4. That was just his "billed height". You can see from photos before his back got bad (standing next to other people whose heights are known) that he was about 6'10. His large head and hair made him appear taller.

    • @bjbou5217
      @bjbou5217 11 місяців тому

      The point is that Andre The Giant was a little over 7'4" before he had several disks removed from his back in the mid 1980's. He was around 7'2" after this, and then around 7'0" around the time of his death. Also, he wasn't 525 pounds. This man was well over 600 pounds, and over 700 in his last days.

      Do you ever get sick of telling your old stories to people? No. Because no matter how many times you may have told the story. Everytime you tell it, someone hasn't heard it and it's like telling the story for the first time. I think it goes double for guys like Andre The Giant stories because he's a story legend. If you have a story about Andre. People are gonna wanna hear it.

I, for one, am sooooo glad these guys are still telling the stories they tell and I'll never get tired of listening to them. Aside from that downing a guy for simply reminiscing and laughing about the better memories he has is kinda a shit head thing to do. Keep that in mind next time u start on about some remember when shit in your life.
