oh thats why I can notice distortion when doing aggressive compressor settings
Always appreciate this channel for super concise lessons. Constantly learning something new, thank you!
This answers a couple of questions
The best channel
Gems!!!
Very interesting and informativ video. Fine work for sure 👌
This channel is gold
Cool. Didn’t realise that proc2 can generate additional harmonics.
this is knowledge, very cool
Banger after banger vids 🎉🎉🎉
holy...poop. I have watched, I don't know, ten-to-twenty thousand tutorials and this is the first time the dBfs seems clear and easy, exactly because it was placed in context of Pascals as a unit (which I didn't know), human perception of volume etc. etc. Nicely done.
I want to be sound engineer but I didn’t know there is mathematics in this stuff. I skipped all mathematics classes in school coz the teacher made me hate it. 😢
make yourself love it? bully them back w your love!! it’s not that mathy in practice besides.
@@chinmeysway I will follow the dream. Great encouragement man.
Thanks Sage! My mixes are crazy incredible Now 🔥
are you matue'fan?

Made a comment and deleted it, but by my understanding of this info you should not compress bass with fast attack speed or the compression will distort it?
That's correct! You can do it for a creative effect though - if you want a bass guitar or drum to have some additional distortion, a fast release is a good way to introduce some extra harmonic distortion.
6.02dB is twice the voltage and four times the power!! (Watts)
Magnifique leçon vraiment que du bonheur !!!!!!! In fact , I already regret having suspended my membership, because my English is too bad ... 🤢😪😡
What are the membership fees per year????
No compression to Love for u❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello sir, I have a studio setup. I have a bass cencelation problem in my listening position which is middle of my studio. But in other position the bass is good in listening. But I cannot move my listening position due to room shape. Is a good Subwoofer solve this problem? I want to conferm before buy and invest money. Plz answer.
Use bass traps
do you / sage master with any actual hardware?
Yep! If you scroll down you can see what our head engineer uses: www.sageaudio.com/studio-photos
Hey guys, my producer gave me mp3. Can you master that?
Absolutely! If possible though, see if you can receive a WAV file - ideally 48kHz, 24-bit or higher. But if not, we can make it work
@@sageaudio okay. I sent an email for inquiry. I will go back to studio and try to see if I can get a wav.
First Like First Comment❤
Didn't understand anything 😢
Interesting! But maybe things are getting too perfect! And less interesting. Use your ears!
this will sound stupid...but can you dumb these tutorials down a bit?
This guy makes good tutorials
