first thing to do is to stop all form of trade and seek the help of an expert to guide you through. allot of people shy away from this thinking they could do it alone and end up blowing up their account.
I've lost nearly 4000 in my demo account, used allot of strategy I saw on youtube and read online, what advice do you have for me, which strategy should I focus on?
I'd advice not to use all strategy you watch or read online. different traders, different strategy. trying to put all together will only lead to you making more loss.

Personally as a first time investor,I started trading with the Mr Walter with $1000 now my portfolio is worth $5,400 within the space of few months trading with him..
Dude, this rocks. I used gdax to move crypto to exchange to avoid fee previously, but had no idea you could go to bank fee free. Thanks tons. Subbed and liked
So if i have x amount of ripple , put it back on binance. Sell it for bitcoin. Send from my binance wallet to gdax/coinbase wallet. Then from gdax/coinbase wallet , sell my bitcoin for usd , and then deposit the usd i have on the exchange back into my bank? I so gdax is the medium for the btc back to usd with no fee?
I just wanted to comment that I did exactly as you did and have explained and everything was true. Even the fact that the money took LESS than 24hrs (about 16hrs) to arrive in my bank account with no fees from Coinbase. Thank you very much for the laughs and informative video.
Robert, it's wonderful that you figured out this workaround to avoid Coinbase fees. Thank you for sharing - very helpful! When I invested in Crypterra, I transferred money to my Coinbase account it charged me $50 of fees for buying the LTC. If I watched this video before I did that I would have done the reverse of what you just did here & save myself those fees plus I may even avoided the bid/ask spread! (it's very smart of you to skip explaining the spread in this vid.) :) Awesome!
You might want to add the Transfer of US funds to Coinbase. Transferring US to GDAX the Limit orders to purchase and you will not incur buy fees as well. Great Video...Loved it
On coinbase you should transfer US dollars to your US Dollar account then transfer it to GDax and purchase your Bitcoin, LTC, Ether with limit order and the fees are way less than just purchasing it directly on Coinbase and paying like 100 bucks on a 4000 purchase.
Really liked the video! After adding up my fees on coinbase recently I found that I had incurred $228.00 in fees. They really do add up! Thanks. I listened, liked, subscribed and left a comment! Keep up the great work.
You can transfer USD directly from USD bank account to gdax with no fees. I do this often. If you transfer USD from bank account to coinbase...there are fees.
I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $370k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.
@@wilsonbrown8993 Interesting, I have a lump sum doing absolutely nothing at all in my bank account, I wanna get something started with it. You seem to be doing excellent for yourself, how do you achieve this?
@CryptoRobert, Hi robert terrific video! But do you know if this still holds true as of October of 2018? I know it's not called GDAX anymore and now called Coinbase Pro but I wanted to know if they caught on and added fees or still able to avoid fees this way? Thanks in advance!
New to crypto! so, this is very helpful. One of the readers indicated that this is now available through Coinbase pro? is there a more current video with the new platform? Also, i hope you are considering two videos... one that shows how BC goes from the wallet to the bank without fees, and again from the bank to BC wallet without fees. I'm a very visual learner, so having the video showing both will be most helpful! Thank you Crypto Robert!! hope all is well!!
Hey Robert, this is a great video! Thanks so much. I know it isn't that different, but will you be doing an updated version of this video now that GDAX is gone and CoinbasePro is in place? Cheers!
Good vid Robert. I was concerned that GDAX changed their policy this year and started charging fees but no, still no fees! Thanks for this information and I'm subscribed.
Very clear explanation. I will put this in my next e-book. And thanks also for listing, in the comments, all the countries this service is available in. Liked and subscribed and hit the bell button too!
Thank you I’ve gotten tired of explaining this too my nicehash crew one by one, free withdrawal too Coinbase with nicehash after their internal wallet fees.
Now THIS is worth a like, and a subscribe! Too bad you can't subscribe twice. Aw well. Liked! Although, FREE* needs a caveat: the Tax Man. He'll nail that BTC-USD transaction with 10-37% depending on your tax bracket.
Clarification: 10-37% of the capital gains on the bitcoin in USD at the time of sale, which you need to track to calculate your tax payment. So, if you bought the bitcoin for $100USD equivalent in altcoin, and sold it for $110USD, you pay anywhere from $1.00 to $3.70 for the FREE* sale of your coins into dollars.
Great tax point you make there. In fact, I have a Bitcoin and cryptocurrency tax video in the works. I am just in the planning stage at the moment but I should have that one done in a week or two.
Robert i got a question. What Sized inches monitor u have and what resolution ? Because my monitor is 13-15inches and i cannot SEE all of the fullness of the Charts in Gdax. and When i zoom out to see , like 80%, 70% zoomed out, i can only see around 9/10 of it. still missing some pips line to the right. not the Trade History but the points of the Pips. WHAT monitor size must i have to see it fully? without zooming out? and what resolution? Help! My resolution at 1024x768 pixels.
Great video CryptoRobert. I have a dopey question. I have used GDAX. I was wondering after converting BTC to USD in gdax can you hold it there and wait for the bitcoin dip and sell it back to BTC or do u have to use tether for that?????? Thanks in advance.
Bill, no, it's not a dopey question at all. If you convert your BTC to USD on GDAX you can just let the cash sit in GDAX. When you feel that the BTC price drops enough you can buy more BTC, using the Stop Limit method of course. You can do this over and over again, buying and selling and keeping a bit of profit, all without ever having to pay a fee. You cannot use Tether in GDAX however.
I would appreciate any advice on avoiding or minimising bank transfer fees with Coinbase/G Dax... Coinbase is a US-based company, as far as I know... Do UK-based clients pay more for bank-to-bank transfers between the UK and the US? What's your experience?
One Last important Question: Do We have to click on the BTC/USD pair to be able to SELL the Bitcoin? or can the Stockpair be at any one combinations. Just want to conver the Bitcoin into USD in Gdax
In your demonstration GDAX still made money as the taker of your sell offer did pay a trading fee. You just don't see it. :-) This is a smart way to sell.
The question here is "in what price I will cash out the money " since the price of BTC changes from the day i cash it out till the day i get it to my bank account" ?
Would it be a red flag if you send more than $10,000 to your bank account? Like for example say you raised your withdrawal limit to $20,000 instead of $10,000 and you sold all your BTC and you wanted to send $15,000 back to your bank account. Would that be a red flag by depositing that large amount back into your bank account? Or any amount would be fine because its going through ACH (automated clearing house)? Just trying to avoid getting into trouble with the IRS.
I would appreciate any advice on minimising bank transfer fees... Coinbase is a US-based company, as far as I know... Are there other exchanges based in EU? Do UK-based clients pay more for bank-to-bank transfers between the UK and the US? What's your experience?
Yes, there is a very easy way. All you need to do is click the Withdraw button in GDAX and then select Coinbase. You can transfer USD, EUR, or BTC right back to your Coinbase account for free.
Hi CryptoRobert , thanks so much for the video. I have set up the Coinbase account and now have Gdax to save some money. It is great. I have a question. I have someone to send me some ETH coins, but I see I have few ETH Wallet addresses, which one should I send to him to get some coins from him. - What is the safe and correct way to let someone to send you coins. Thanks so much.
