Having Scarra be the host over Toast in this one interview was super beneficial in this case. They have so much synergy and are LCS vets, such a treat!
So true! I don't watch/play/have anything to do with League, but this podcast was very chill, like two friends just catching up and sharing some memories.

Wow, that video went by quick! Hearing people talk about their passions really is inspirational. You both had such insightful views on league, streaming, and gaming overall. Enjoyed every second!
The fact Scarra always thinks about his friends when trying out games in hopes he can play together with them, its so so sweet. We love wholesome Scarra ❤️

I really enjoy Scarra content because he always seems to be excited about the conversation, especially in this episode. I understand maybe 5% of what they’re talking about, but still enjoyed it.
Y'know, I just LOVE that with Toast gone they've had OTV members hosting with people who they have a rapport with. The last two episodes have been such COLOSSAL BANGERS. I wanna platonically smooch whoever came up with the idea.
I love scarra on the podcast, I really enjoy the different perspectives and ways each of the OTV members come to the podcast & host. I would love if each month it was a different host with different guests.
So much respect for double lift. Even when presented with a perfectly acceptable instance to being up his own tragedies he doesn't. I can't imagine going through what he has and being as strong willed.
What I love about this podcast in particular is just... Those two clearly have gone through so much together. Like Idk how strong their friendship really was in all regards, but it is clear that that wealth of shared experiences has forged something special and it comes out when they talk. Especially because they are both very smart people who think so much about what they are doing.
The first few mins are surprisingly fire compared to the other 14 episodes Edit: finished the whole episode and gotta say, it’s the most entertaining episode so far!! Y’all gotta get more Scarra energy into these talks!
Wow I didn't expect this weeks episode to be a lot more interesting and enjoyable. The topics are so interesting it didn't even feel like 1 hour and 40 minutes, great episode as always looking forward to more episodes with scarra.
God i can just listen to Scarra reminisce for hours. All the inside stories and behind the scene tales is amazing to hear! Scarra has had such a storied career and listening to him talk about his past is like listening to an adventurer coming back from a long journey. 😊😊😊
Seeing this is so wholesome since I don't see much Scarra/DL content, but it's like seeing old friends who split ways coming back together and nothing's changed.
Don Scarra! I love hearing his stories and how excited he always is about his friends. We all need a friend like him. I also have watched OTV play league but never know what’s happening or understand what they’re talking about.
Great podcast, really interesting to hear these two iconic league players talk about the state of gaming and the evolution of league through the years.
All of my friends grew up watching these two and I couldn’t be more proud of both of them for getting to this stage in their life when they can look back and laugh at the situations that they were in. Absolutely loved listening to this conversation.
2:33 Double was already a millionaire around the time he won LCS for the first time with CLG in 2015? Imagine how much he was getting during the TL 4-peat days?
NGL I usually can't finish a podcast but this podcast was refreshing and chill, felt like I was a third friend listening to two other "friends" I've known for the past decade when I started watching LCS since season 2
This was one of the most enjoyable podcast episodes in the history of the world. Having Scarra do this with Doublelift was the secret wish of every OG League player/fan
Props to OTV, Doublelift and Scarra. This is the first video I played thats 1hour + and did not fast forward or skip to anyplace. More contents like this please.
i dont usually watch league content (even from other otv&f) since i dont play, but this was such a treat to listen to! they’re both so engaging :D thanks for a great episode scarra and doublelift~
being a boomer oldhead league player and having been chronically keeping up with league esports during this era and forward...made me really happy to hear this podcast. two legends who were a part of an era that hardcarried the shit out of league to being what it is today. that era/landscape is untouchable. good hearts and good times.
This episode was an absolute delight. Scarra as a host talking to someone who shares the same experiences and interests as him is so enriching and exciting to listen to and watch. It also doesn't hurt that these two are icons and legends in the League scene. Personally, I loved this episode specifically and I look forward to more of them like these.
This is by far my favourite episode of the OTV Podcast, I've been playing league since season 3 so I've been following these two for the better part of a decade! Its so great to see the "old school" league players I loved to watch back then still be friends today, its almost as if they were just catching up and talking as good friends do where its never uncomfortable and its always just so natural! Much love to you Scarra and all the same love to you as well Doublelift!
Turned this on to be something to listen to while doing dishes, and I couldn't stop watching. It is so rare such raw chemistry is present in a podcast. You rarely find 2 people who can go off and talk about fucking anything but keep it soooo engaging for the viewers.
I want to point out that I have been dedicated listener/watcher of this podcast and I honestly do not watch most of the streamers that come on. I only know of them. The reason why I keep up with the podcast is to hear their story and their process. It is the human element of them meeting their career and their process through it all, that is the most fascinating thing to me. I know that might not last forever in terms or returning guests and maybe running out of potential questions, but for now it has been enlightening.
Two of the icons I watched on UA-cam. As I left home and joined the Navy watching these two play games and keeping up with their content kept me in touch with gaming. It was great hearing Scarra and DL chopping it up together.
When Scarra said his peers are 7-figure people, really was a sneak peek of how ludicrous being a successful streamer really is. Note* "successful streamer" but for the majority of cases its not like that at all. Like Peter said, its really about the 1 percenter here.
this is the most enjoyable podcast yet, where both of them were just so passionate about what they were talking about. this is what a podcast should feel like. excitement and passion, rather than dull interviews with strangers/acquaintances.
This whole episode is nostalgic vibes. They're right about the fact that when Scarra was a pro the league had a different, more organic feel to it. I felt so lucky to be a part of that community back then. It felt like I had discovered this like secret treasure and couldn't wait to watch all the lcs games. I couldn't wait to watch tsm legends. And it's crazy that like 10 years later I'm still watching these guys. I'm grateful.
loved hearing about them talk about esports and league/riot, its so cool to see them so passionate about it and talk at length about how they feel about it
I remember seeing Scarra in 2016 summer finals in Toronto walking down the street at the air Canada Centre it was really surreal , I didn't say anything but everyone on the street kinda pointed at him and said look there's Scarra and he kinda looked at us and then continued on to where he was going.
As someone who doesn't usually watch OTV content, this was lovely to watch. Please have Scarra occasionally talk with more League folks. Shout out to Coach Chris for perfect LCS record.
As somebody who has been playing league for almost 10 years and still does, this made me so happy to see these two sit down and chat about the good ol' days.
Scarra should do more podcast style content, he is so good! I really like his just chatting stream segments and I think they would work even better if there is a guest and a topic list.
This is by far my favourite episode of this podcast! I would literally watch Scarra and Doublelift together every single week because of how amazing their chemistry is!
The vibes of this episode were different and in an insanely positive way. Never played League but how these two synergized on the topic and all other stuff were amazing. I'd love to see more of these!
I can't watch more than 5 minutes of gaming streams so I only get to see scarra in otv content. But I love him and his vibe sooo much. Any video is great with him in it 😊

As a person who's never played league and doesn't really care about eSports: this episode of the podcast was amazingly interesting to listen to
