TMK as usual is wonderful. The violinist while being superb seems to be more of a soloist than an accompanying artist. He does not closely follow the vocalist, especially during Thanam, but creates his own imagination. This is not a criticism......just a recognition of facts. His violin tonal quality is outstanding.

Does anybody know who the violinist is? I am trying to guess but no luck, it is not RK sreeramkumar, it is not HKvenkataraman usual people who play for TMK. Sound of this violin playing is different.
@KRISHNA NARAYANAN Actually this is an excerpt from the bhairavi RTP from the album "Narayana" of TMK. I have checked the accompanists on google and it's indeed Sriram Parasuram. I am just curious. What did Vid. Sriram comment about TMK?
