I've put together 5 sets of fragrances that are perfect together and I share my thoughts on how to build a collection of men's cologne.
Each cologne collection has 1 versatile everyday cologne, a fresh fragrance, a warmer/deeper scent and a fourth fragrance that I felt would bring it something fantastic. 😊 One of the perfume collections is a niche one for the niche lovers 👍 A lot of compliment getter fragrances in here.

My favourites are YSL Y EDP, dior elixir, Acqua abslu,JPG LE MALE LE, and JPG le beau. I have all these in my collection.

@@rottenrebels I liked it because it was sort of herbal and restrained? At least on my skin. I hope he likes it. On the other end I got a small decant of PDM Layton for him to try. But I think the Vetiver smell more professional and isn’t ‘sexy’. Which is what I was going for. Something he could wear to work, to lunch, more casual.

I would go for collection no.4 + Sauvage Elixir, which I'm going to add to my collection, also Allure sport extreme. Just ordered La Beau le parfum, Valentino Uomo intense, ADG Profondo and Rare Carbon from Afnan.

just ordered Le Beau EDT from Macy's yesterday, but GOD DAMN is it hard to find them online. the new Le Beau Le Parfum was sold out everywhere i looked, and the EDT wasnt easy to find either, but thankfully Macy's had the EDT at least. i still feel bad for paying retail, but i had to do that with Le Male Le Parfum. is this just a thing in North America, or is it more widespread? Cuz i even checked JPG's site and couldnt find them in stock, so maybe its an issue where they cant produce enough to meet demand? idfk.

@@rottenrebels definetly! i haven't tried Angel's Share so i can't comment on the similarities 8some say it's the closest clone), but it's a wonderful scent. Boozy, cinnamon and dried fruits (raisins) are the notes i get the most. Very sexy and warm, perfect for winter time and date night. Great duration and projection. When i applied first, my wife could already smell it from down the corridor...
make a video explaining how to use fragrances in different climates, what a hot and humid tropical climate impacts on use, a dry and cold climate, and so on.

@@rottenrebels I've heard so many stories about Layton😂 and I did test it (along with Pegasus Exclusif & Herod). So I think it would be a good one to have. Percival, I compared it to most Niche summer scents, I can say it performs better than them. Red Tobacco is the one I've never tested, but I want a Tobacco fragrance.
I like everything. My only change would be Costa Azzurra instead Grey Vetiver 🤔

I couldn't choose a collection. Everyone of these you have picked are very good. I do however have a very strong appreciation for Allure homme sport and the eau extreme.. both are great and worth the price... Although I would enjoy if they came down in price a bit.. but wouldn't we all 🤣🤣

I am a beginner and was wandering if it is redundant to own tiziana terenzi lince and Dior homme intense? (just wandering because of the powedry note they share)
Hi! They are very different. Lince has a lot lighter kind of powderiness in a combo with vanilla, a bit of florals and a touch of freshness. Dior Homme Intense has a very thick and rich powderiness with a big dose of woodiness and something slightly sweet.
They are both powdery but very different 😊
If I narrowed my own collection down to fit the video format:
Every day: Terre d'Hermes eau Intense Vetiver / Cedrat Boise
Fresh: Mont Blanc Legend Spirit / Sean John 3AM (I don't like aquatic/blue frags, so this is what I like when it's super hot out)
Warm: Tobacco Vanille (or Red Tobacco) / Burberry London for Men
Date Night: La Nuit de L'homme / PDM Herod

I have an idea. I don't know if this can be good content.
All fragrance youtubers always do sniffing test with paper and sniff very close to the nose 😊
While it's good to know the fragrance notes but I think it will be very rarely people sniffing very close like that except when hugging or in intimate relationship.
Never I see youtuber do actual projection and silage test 😊
So, my idea is like this. You spray fragrance at your neck and hand/wrist and clothes and then Sarah will sniff the scents at minimum 2 feet to know how strong the projection is 😊 Or you pass by behind Sarah and ask if she can smell it 😊😊

YSL Y edp is the most boring fragrance I've ever smelled (and I generally love YSL frags). Chicks go crazy for it, but I can't stand it. HOWEVER -- the new Intense version is much, much better, it's actually interesting while still being mass appealing, and the wahmens still love it. Plus the deep blue bottle is gorgeous.
