if you really think about the Chimera ant arc, it wasn't a war, it was an extermination, and it didn't have to happen. I think Meruem would have just called it off if he had more time to talk with Komugi, he was still learning about the world, but maybe they were too powerful to be left alive.

And also the biggest reason why killua cried isnt bc he was mean to killua, killua cried bc he couldnt help him. I mean...have u even read the sub title? Killua said:" i cant do anything." So the biggest reason why he cried is bc he couldnt do anything to make gon feel better or help him. And if u still think he made killua cry bc of that, then thats still no good reason to call him a bad guy. If ur angry u just dont know what ur saying, gon apologized at the end...and we all know what kind of sweet heart gon is when hes happy right? He srsly didnt mean to say that to killua...but yeah, this was all the fault of pitou...that this happend.
2 wrongs don't make a right bro. yes, it is easy to sympathize with Gon, but that doesn't change the fact that his actions were well... unheroic to say the least. also, you could see how visibly hurt Killua was when Gon said those things to him. Killua simply blamed himself. don't get me wrong, I like Gon, but he was quite a jerk in that arc.
