The difference between Christopher and Luke is, that one of them tries to get Lorelai and the other one just waits for her. While Christopher ruins Luke and Lorelais relationship ship with beeing pushy and manipulative, Luke ruins Lorelai and Christopher’s relationship with just beeing there. While Christopher says Lorelai, that he loves her and she should think about that, Luke just waits, until she gets clear about her feelings. While Christopher comes and goes , and always tries to take Lorelai with him, Luke ist just always around her. While Christopher comes to Lorelai, Luke is waiting until Lorelai ist coming to him. While Christopher just wants to make her happy, if they‘re together, Luke wants to make her happy all the time. Edit: omg I read this after a few months and it’s just so kitschy xD
Luke and Lorelai have built a great friendship that then turned into loving each other (even though they never freaking say it!!) but when L & L broke up and she tried making that phone call to him but then immediately tried to delete the message from the answering machine,… that’s why. It’s because they’re great friend first.
By far one of the most dramatic episodes of GG. I used to get chills when Lorelai says to Emily. "You and me, we're done". Lauren's acting was great. She always nailed the most dramatic moments as well as a talent for comedy. No actress could have played Lorelai like she did.
Lorelai stops chris and gets him out of the room Lorelai then stops luke and gets him out of the room Luke & chris : How to kill LOGAN 101 Logan: I made out with the wrong girl 😬 Rory:🙄😒
christopher just proved why he wasn't the one and never will be. i like him because he's charming and has good chemistry with lorelai but he was always childish, impulsive, selfish and inconsiderate. luke has always been there for lorelai and rory. christopher was in and out of rory's life and left lorelai waiting. luke has always been a father figure to rory and a dependable man in lorelai's life. he was there for all of their big and small moments. christopher was a deadbeat dad.
Agreed 👌🏻Blood and DNA don’t always necessarily make people parents- their actions do 🥺 Leave it to Christopher for bringing up Emily’s name🙄 That’s when Luke had had enough 🥺
Lol, where the hell does Christopher get off acting like this about Rory? He’s never spent more than two days in her presence. LOGAN has a better relationship with her than he does
I never really hated Chris, he tried, but he could’ve done way more for them. Before Lorelai got pregnant, we’ve heard that Chris was always there for her, and when she got pregnant he wanted to marry her, but Lorelai also left to raise Rory on her own at a different town. I believe Chris still loved them, he just panicked, and I agree that he isn’t the most mature guy and he definitely could’ve tried harder to be part of their family, he just didn’t know how, which is why when he saw Lorelai again, he still wanted to marry her, and he wanted to be there for Rory. Of course at that time they were much older and they knew how to take care of themselves so he left again after Lorelai turned him down. He always came back though, maybe not at the best times, but I do believe he always loved them, and like Lorelai said, there may be a part of her too that will always love Christopher, because they’ve shared a close life together we never got to see. You can blame him for leaving at first, but you can’t blame him for wanting to try after all these years, because I think that’s better than not coming back at all, obviously he still cares for them because he’ll see them as a separate family of his, but he’s not perfect, no one it that show was. Even Luke, who waited so long and kept secrets, but because Lorelai loved him the most, I am glad she ended up with him. Luke was also always there because he did live there, he served them coffee all the time, and if people say he’s more of Rory’s father that way, then you must have completely ignored all of Christopher’s attempts to come back into their lives, and Lorelai not wanting that. He isn’t all to blame here, because I think the idea that Lorelai not wanting him in her and Rory’s life always stuck with him.
I have seen the show multiple times and there's not a single instance I can think of where Lorelai actively tries to keep Christopher out of their lives. She's always nothing but kind and welcoming when he comes to Stars Hollow. Christopher's inability to be there for Rory is because he chooses not to be. All these attempts you're talking about aren't attempts to truly be a dad to Rory. They are attempts to either get back with Lorelai or impress Sherry and Rory just ends up being the tool he uses to make that happen. And when these incentives aren't there anymore, he pretty much bows out of her life. There was nothing really keeping him out of Rory's life except for him and that's why, imo, he is solely to blame for why Luke is considered more of a parent to Rory.
@@Cassandra765 I agree. Lorelai always tried to encourage Chris be more permanent in Rory life but he wouldn't listen. I hate fans who twost things around. If Chris really wanted to be in Rory life he could have fought for her but he didn't.

So true
Rory looked more scared of Luke than Chris.
Right?. It just proves how much Rory looks up to Luke then her own dad.
biologically, chris is rory's father, but luke is a better dad than christopher ever was
By far one of the most dramatic episodes of GG. I used to get chills when Lorelai says to Emily. "You and me, we're done". Lauren's acting was great. She always nailed the most dramatic moments as well as a talent for comedy. No actress could have played Lorelai like she did.
Has anyone else noticed how Chris is acting just like Logan did when he picked a fight with Jess
Yes both are drunks
“CHRISTOPHER GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!!!!!”
Tell him girlie
The funniest part is the wedding pictures they're going to get later. 4:00 🤣
Single-handedly one of the best scenes in all of tv it’s brilliant
No wonder she didn’t like Logan at first lol
Christopher and Luke being the protective fathers is a mood.
Luke yes but Chris never
I love how Logan's hands were literally nowhere near Rory and Luke was still screaming his face off lol
Lorelai stops chris and gets him out of the room
Lorelai then stops luke and gets him out of the room
Luke & chris : How to kill LOGAN 101
Logan: I made out with the wrong girl 😬
Rory:🙄😒
🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Lorelei should have just slapped Chris at that exact moment when he said For now
Logan's facial expression was like, Didn't I already meet her dad?
Luke is the best I love him being protective of Rory
*"hands in the air! I wanna see hands in the air!"* 🤣
Luke was more of a father to Rory and Christopher Ever was so really Christopher has no business having any say in anything that happens to Rory
Where is the rest??? Please...such a great flow...
Grandma wants a picture of this 🤣
could you make a"dave and lane" playlist? That would be great
I liked him a lot! I was very confused as to what happened to him or where he went…
I really REALLY dislike this scene
Jasmine Fung me too!!
Same here, except... "You cannot keep a room full of anglo-saxons waiting for cake this long. They start to form more clubs." 😂
IKR STUPID CHRISTOPHER
Emily put him up to it. But it didn't take much convincing on his part. He is selfish.. Did he pay child support? Or was he a dead beat dad.
@@reneeg4817 pretty sure he had no money. Bouncing around from job to job, nothing stable.
Poor Logan was probably so confused and scared, getting yelled at by two grown men acting like Roy’s dad😂
Luke shouldn’t be mad at Lorelei, but with Emily-& Christopher
such an iconic episode
Luke is definitely the best 💯😄
I love Luke ❤️
Please! Lauren Graham in that dress 🙌 goodness 🙌
christopher just proved why he wasn't the one and never will be. i like him because he's charming and has good chemistry with lorelai but he was always childish, impulsive, selfish and inconsiderate. luke has always been there for lorelai and rory. christopher was in and out of rory's life and left lorelai waiting. luke has always been a father figure to rory and a dependable man in lorelai's life. he was there for all of their big and small moments. christopher was a deadbeat dad.
Chris honey you are the sperm donor, Luke is her real father figure
#SorryNotSorry 😂
2:50 shut up Christopher
-" I'm gonna kill him!"
-" No! I'm gonna kill him"'
Lmao.😭😭😂😂
The “I’m gonna kill him no I’m gonna kill him” made me cry out of laughter and happiness
The only time they would have worked together lol.

not everything is blood ..Luke is her real dad 😭
Agreed 👌🏻Blood and DNA don’t always necessarily make people parents- their actions do 🥺
Leave it to Christopher for bringing up Emily’s name🙄 That’s when Luke had had enough 🥺
christopher had the title of a father but he never earned it
He just a sperm donor
In hindsight this was a peak of Gilmore Girls for me. All the characters were rarely again so much themselves, if that makes sense.
Christopher may be her biological dad, but Luke IS her dad
Luke is a better father to Rory than Chris will ever be.
Lol, where the hell does Christopher get off acting like this about Rory? He’s never spent more than two days in her presence. LOGAN has a better relationship with her than he does
This scene makes me laugh so much!
@@Cassandra765 right
Your twisting everything around.
@@Cassandra765 I agree. Lorelai always tried to encourage Chris be more permanent in Rory life but he wouldn't listen. I hate fans who twost things around. If Chris really wanted to be in Rory life he could have fought for her but he didn't.
I call bs on the statement.
Logan really regretting his life choices right now 😭
Chris may be the bio dad of Rory but Luke will always be her dad no discussion needed
