Please cover the stock sounds that comes out the box with it with the software. Always wondered how many sounds they give you before you start buying packs
Thank you Douglas, it's great to see a review from someone new to MPC. I'm not sure if this will be right for me so I'm looking forward to your more in-depth review. It would be interesting to hear your opinion on a 64 pad controller too, as another alternative input\control device to use alongside a MIDI keyboard.
Nice video bro... thought you only did keyboard reviews lol. Have you tested it as a midi controller in Pro-Tools, I am curious how it would work in Logic Pro.
Thanks! Haha I like to stretch myself once in a while! That's actually in the plans...I want to see what the capabilities are as a drum pad midi controller. I'll put a video out on it as I do some learning and testing on my side!
Hi. I use this for church, using progression chord only. Btw is there a way to set the led color lights on the pad so I can easly sets which color button is the major, minor, 7th and so on. Thanks
Hey that's actually really interesting! Do you use it with the MPC 2 software? You should be able to change the color of the pads from within the software if you are using it.
@DSoundman, I have just subscribed 👍 I have a question for you? I have just bought an MPC one Retro addition still in the box as I am currently working away. That comes with the MPC 2.0 software. Can I control the software with that or would it be better to get one of these as well? The latter was purchased to link up with my home desktop computer but I thought about this for my laptop setup which is portable. What are your thoughts? If I only had seen this first I could have saved some money lol. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey! I’m actually not sure if you can control MPC 2 with the MPC One…if it comes with it then you might be able to. Maybe someone with some MPC One experience can chime in!
Haha no, that’s how I’ve always said it, but upon further research in Akai official videos they pronounce it like Ah-Ky….lol. I’ll try that pronunciation in the next video!
I did a little research today and found that in official Akai videos they pronounce it Ah-Ky. My bad…haha I’ll give it a better try in the next video! 😂
Just purchased my MPC Studio too. I'll be using it in a DAW (Studio One). Looking forward to the videos.
The MPC Studio has arrived! What tutorial style videos would you like to see of the brand new MPC Studio controller?

can you drag tracks you've made with this in to GarageBand?
I don’t know if you can drag the tracks, but you could export them as MIDI or audio and bring them into garage band that way.
@@DSoundman thanks!
Is that how you really pronounce Akai?
Haha no, that’s how I’ve always said it, but upon further research in Akai official videos they pronounce it like Ah-Ky….lol. I’ll try that pronunciation in the next video!
