This town sounds like a grand ol time! I love that there are water activities to do there. I wouldn’t mind getting out in a kayak. Great Orillia Ontario guide!
I'm amazed by the abundance of attractions in Orillia, from the breathtaking beaches to the lively farmer's market and brewery, Thanks a lot for taking us on this wonderful tour!
My husband and I finished our camping season last year booked in at Heidi's Campground. We were in Orillia everyday and saw so much and the farmers market was not that interesting. It was downtown with little to offer. The Mariposa Market was to die for everything was deadly on the hips! We live in Alliston, so it was just a nice week for a getaway.
Truly wonderful place with an immense number of activities to offer the humble traveller! Such a great number of museums and a wonderful place to spend some time along the water's edge!
Ontario looks so charming and worth visiting. Love the greenery and the beach look so amazing. Thanks for sharing taking us through with informative video
Visiting a brewery and moose beach are my kind of attractions. Getting out on the water for an adventure is always a lot of fun. Great list on Orillia.
This is a nice place. I like all the biking and walking paths. The fact that it's on the water is real nice as well. Gotta love a good farmers market. I like the small local museums that give history to places that aren't in usual textbooks.
That sure looks like the perfect getaway for the weekend! Those cycling paths look really nice. I think I would enjoy that! A historic site is always fun too! Thanks for sharing!
Lovely lakeside peaceful place. The park looks great. So many things to do in Orillia, thanks for sharing. It reminds me one of the park in Gujarat, India.
Wonderful video!! I visited Orillia back in 2019 for a concert, but didn’t have a chance to tour the city. This year I’m back as part of a cross country road trip. Looks like there’s stuff to do, which makes me excited since the last stretch the drive (from Winnipeg) has been uneventful.
Another place we could easily spend a day. I like the name of the brewery 🍻 it is nice there is a lot of water access nearby...maybe a good place for your new kayaks?
seems such a beautiful day to see a lovely little town! Love the old buildings. the bakery looks super yummy! the beach looks nice but disappointed there were no actual moose there!
Little tip "Couchiching" even though the name looks like "couch" , it's actually pronounced "Koochiching", by locals. Casino Rama is In "Rama". But the reason why it might be listed as a place to visit when visiting Orillia is because it's the closest city to it. Rama area doesn't really have anything. And it's more like 10-18 minute ride depending where in Orillia you are. It's actually pretty darn close to the city. I mean put it this way. You don't visit "Rama" lol. It's only a Casino there basically.
My town l live here. Beautiful place. ❤️
Love your channel. The locals pronounce Couchiching “Coo-cha-Ching”.
Thanks! We struggled hard pronouncing that one 🤣

Interesting
Coo-cha-ching not couch-a-ching
Pronounced KOO-che-ching
how can you got to orillia and not go to mariposa its our most famous tourist attraction! and its not "couch itching" its "coo ca ching"
Great video but it is pronounced Cooch-a-ching.
Good to know for next time 🤦♀️🤣
@@TheAverageTourist no worries, it's a common mistake. 😊
0:11 it's pronounced 'cooch'IH'ching' not cowch'ih'ching accodring to the local dialect.
Thanks! Noted for future 👌
Couchiching is pronounced like "cooch-iching" , not like a piece of furniture.
Noted, thank you!
Leave them tree,s Alone
I will keep this in mind 🫡
Awesome!
