At 12:00 PM, The Town of Archer City Texas conducted a test of their outdoor warning sirens on Monday, June 1st, 2020. The test consisted of a short Hi-Lo and a longer Alert, (Only one of the Whelens Activated)
I met up with the EMS manager (Mike) and He showed me how the thunderbolt was set off. He has recorded the thunderbolt also.
Here's his channel:

This siren is located at the Archer City Fire Dept.
This was quite an awesome day, This is the first video of the Archer City 1003 doing Hi-Lo! The Reason the Solenoids and blower activated first is because Mike had to activate the siren manually through the RCM panels, since the AR timer is currently not working.
*I have been getting questions as to whether the solenoids are broken or not*
*They are not broken, they were just being activated through the tone modulator, that's why they continue to click after the siren shuts off*
I have also been getting shit about the second angle, just deal with it and stop acting like its a big deal, thanks.
0:40 solenoids go clap clap :D
Mike was very kind to set off the Bolt for you. Your videos really remind me of DSRX100's videos, great production quality!
The wind down during Hi-Lo at 0:34 really reminds me of the 1003 that did Hi-Lo in Wahoo, Nebraska! Also Awesome Video!
What a great video! Probably the healthiest sounding 1003 out there. I like how the flasher relay starts up fast, makes it kinda unique. And the solenoids work great. Fantastic video!
Yup, The solenoid started off early because mike Activated the tone modulator on the RCM 3 before he activated The rest of the functions.
0:40 tick tack tick tack
One of the last 1003's in Texas!
Sweet, its just like nocona.
Yep, The only difference is there’s a 2t22

Both sirens sounded healthy and the tests were very successful!
Yep
There's a third one at a water tower near the high school
Oh this is the same as the other video but with a beautiful shot. Love how it looks with the blue sky in the background. I sure it would sound amazing in attack!
Sweet video! love the 1003!
Thanks you
This is the crispiest, most pristine video you’ve made so far! A hell of a test for sure! This video is the shit man! Great work!
Thanks man I really appreciate it!
4RPM! Also the relief valve could use some more weight. The blower is definitely lifting weights over there during hi lo lmfao. Great video!
Cool, it sounds really good on high low
Ok
i notice at 0:33 that when the thunderbolt is winding down, the solenoids are still going. Is this a problem? or is this supposed to be like that. Cause i only hear solenoids going when its alternate wail.
The solenoids were manually operated through the rcm 3, that’s why
Woah nice chopper level 5
I think it's actually Chopper Level 4
Awesome Video Can't Wait For Today !!!
Yup!

Can I use your video please
Yes
You have permission to use any of my videos
@@OWS_Crazy1 thank you for understanding because I'm doing a CTA movie The Purge go on my comments if you need anything from me
are they always do it manualy? Also no one forgot to hit modular switch this time
They used to activate it through the AR timer, but the pole connecting the wire got knocked over by a truck. Oh now they just activated through the RCM, and yes they use the modulator switch to perform a Hi-Lo signal.
@@OWS_Crazy1 blower was knocked too becouase the blower cover looks like a cover for some kind of AC cooler
that’s not the blower lol. The blower is inside the building.
@@OWS_Crazy1 oh it is ac then
I’ve never ever seen an thunder bolt
You can go to Valley view at 2PM this Thursday. They are testing their 1000
Thanks

I have no idea what you are taking about
Go to The Siren Seekers And You See Archer City Siren On His Channel Watch it
Bro imagine hearing that in a tornado warning
They only do steady tone for tornado warnings. BUT they do Hi Lo for fire calls
@@OWS_Crazy1 I believe that was the case in this video - ua-cam.com/video/dOssc9oHOgY/v-deo.html
This isn't a fire siren anymore and hasn't been for a good long while, it's relegated to storm warning only.
@@OWS_Crazy1 Isn't very obvious for hi lo, it's a fire signal
Archer City is well known for tornadic activities.
Cool
I plan to film this on August
Sounds nice
If you want to contact Mike Mayfield on Facebook messenger, he will be happy to let you come watch the siren test.

I don't have Facebook, but unfortunately, siren didn't go off.
It reminds me of the valley springs thunderbolts
Kinda true
