It's not a pun...its dead on accurate. LOL. They need to do a much better job of grouping same level players together. You're gold or platinum and get stuck with bronze on your team. Not cool. There's a reason why they're bronze. Keep the bronze together and make them wait until there are enough to start a game.
Im from Asia server and im sorry to say this doesnt help. I see other countries have their own strategies and well even a platoon wont help much. We are multiple nations cramped together in one server.
Let's hope it improves teamwork on the North American server first and I swear the rest of the team could be inside of an Abrams and I'd still end up carrying them
1. Know yours and the enemy team composition. It will tell you where they might go, if they have TDs and what their positions are, most importantly, where your team should go. You have more heavies? Go near them. You have more lights/meds? Heavies should stay near. You got many TDs? Be defensive, let the big guns carry. 2. Know your shells. You're not a prammo spammer for having a couple emergency HEAT shots which can help in a pinch. Nor is it a crime to know when and where to HE someone. Use those HE shells on enemy lights or weak rears. If you're a destroyer with 122mm or up and you can't pen a hulldown heavy, try and HE untill they fall back. You can chip in damage that can even influence your team's movements. 3. A lot of armour on the enemy? When in doubt, strike diagonally on the front/back driving wheel for a pen and track disable combo. Should it fail, that's at least an extra 2 seconds to rework your situation. 4. Ratings are very different to random even though they both have their own type of predictability. What may be the 'heavy side' in Hellas for a random may not be the same in a rating. The rules are flipped and you gotta be witty. Have fun lads :)

@@firenzarfrenzy4985 I got lucky that I play from the start and noone got salty when u played bad. I was 12 at the time and shot HE at ANYTHING because the discription said most damage. Needless to say I only did 18 damage and got confused in the lower tiers. Hence why I had a 45% wr. Now I have a climbing winrate and its already 53,80%. 90 day average is around 65%
I always tell myself in rating battles to play smart, don't act like a hero and know what benefits yourself and the team. Best of all, stay together and cooperate as a team. Players who go solo, take their time in their separate routes (especially for those playing heavies) or who are AFK are a big disgrace to the team.
Players can go solo if they know what they are doing, especially for flanking the enemy team, you can see this behavior in high ranked battles on RU server, I believe it's the same for the others servers.
@@-MeTeC- In the Asian severer, many of those players who go solo will likely be the first one to get destroyed. They rush in like headless chickens with no sense of awareness of their surroundings. I always command them to hold positions for the safety of the teammates.
@@shadowtrooper262 it all depends on the situation because if both teams are dug in it becomes trench warfare and if you don't make a offensive move at all its going to cost you the game. but I get what you mean your talking about players who overdue it or go alone into a group of 3 enemies and get killed because they got greedy. It's all situational awareness and one wrong move can cost you the game.

The real how to win: 1. Select the most op tank you have in your garage at 100% crew. Better if its premium. 2. Buy the best provisions and consumables, dont forget to buy all equipment. 3. Go play, go all team one side. Bully enemy tanks. And win. Thats it.
I genuinly love the changes to the whole if you lose but did great you still win points, it makes climbing so much easier not having to rely on your team being good, I have gotten like 750 points in 2 days !

If you have seen any of those 3 things in ratings or normal games, please do tell me your experience, because my 7 years of playing have yet to show me any of that in either of those.
For all the coments crying about teams, if you do well on the game, you get rating points even when losing (so winrate isnt that important, but performance on the battle), or you lose very little points if you do well even if your team is really bad, what this means is that if you deserve it you will climb no matter what, so if you play +50-100 battles and still cant climb, youre just where you deserve to be based on your gameplay

Normal battles in platoon are the best way to get wins. In ratings on Asia server Most are 45%wr, nubs, yolo, raging, incompetents. I usually don’t bother. But with the changes I might look again.
Here im still thinking about fixing the match up where my team has 40%-50% winrate and the enemy has 45%-70% win rate. And my WR just drop drastically from 60% to 52.31% win rate

Rating suck! Most of time, if not all of time you get at lest 2 to 3 good players on your team and rest are bots or players that play this as if it's a normal match by going all across the map just to leave you and your only good teammate to suffer and take on the whole enemy team. To be honest, I've been staying away from Rating battles, because one of my friends told me that the gamemode was full of skilled opponents. I do agree with him tho. I've been playing the game for about a year or two, made excellent progress, and figured out how each tank played. I might give Rating battles a try... I just don't know what I'm gonna get into lol.
You will be surprised by the difference of skill in ranked, unless you are in Bronze or Silver league, you can't do stupid thing like normal battles without being punished and everyone is playing better, people who says it's the same are not really honest.

Looks cool, but I still don't get why I should play it. Longer queue time and no substantial rewards unless you play several hours a day to get gold (at which point it isn't worth to begin with) or a unique tank. I'd rather not play at all.
Restrict and prevent the Premium tanks entering the Rating battles. Using Premium tanks on Ranked Battles like Smashers/Annihilators on tier 7 ranked battles has no proper skill just unfair Pay-to-win than using Tech Tree tanks.

Some more ideas to make it better. 1) no one sub 4 star honour can enter 2) no one sub 50%wr can enter. Do that and the quality will go up exponentially (the rage will also reduce a lot).

Step 1: Have an okay team, preferably not ragers and rushers so I can carry
Step 1: find a good team
Step 2: give up, its impossible
Step 3: don't play rating
Just play Encounter
Step 4: After playing encounter u find out it is worse.
Step 5 : uninstall the game.

Take a good position at Ratings and protect it, win is more important than the damage at them.
I have a few recommendations. The best tanks for rating battles are the e 50 m the e 100 and the sheridian and finnaly the jagad panzer e 100

I try to lose 10 in a row but for some reason we keep winning, the lower your ratings the better the matchmaker

Using King Tiger (Tiger II) is the best way to save HP because of its thick hull and turret armor, perfect for rating battles, NGL.
if you get in t9 battles against strong heavies with high pen like emil 2 m103 the front plate is easily pennable

Instead of a victory, you can set goals for each game. For exanole, for tier 8 a minimun of 1800 or 2000 dmg. I dont know.

I've been playing the game for about a year or two, made excellent progress, and figured out how each tank played. I might give Rating battles a try... I just don't know what I'm gonna get into lol.
You will be surprised by the difference of skill in ranked, unless you are in Bronze or Silver league, you can't do stupid thing like normal battles without being punished and everyone is playing better, people who says it's the same are not really honest.
I know you posted this a year ago but I want to encourage you to do things even if they seem hard or impossible. JFK once said, "We choose to go to the moon, not because it's easy but because it is hard". We learn more about ourselves by enduring difficult things. Each rung you climb up the ladder you'll find there are fewer and fewer people there with you. Don't be afraid!

I have a question, In this video you talk about rewards such as gold, avatars and stuff but when i look at the ratings leaderboard, no such rewards are shown. Where do you find them?

How about Tier X reward tanks ? I mean, tier 8 tanks arent that special to hustle that much + its ''only'' an IS6 and Lorrain 40t...
What WG should do is put a tab or something in the garage that allows to see this kind of tutorial videos, in exchange for an amount of gold, a small amount like 100. ( only if you complete watching the video)

Bring a pay to win tank or don’t bother playing.
Looks cool, but I still don't get why I should play it. Longer queue time and no substantial rewards unless you play several hours a day to get gold (at which point it isn't worth to begin with) or a unique tank. I'd rather not play at all.

Restrict and prevent the Premium tanks entering the Rating battles. Using Premium tanks on Ranked Battles like Smashers/Annihilators on tier 7 ranked battles has no proper skill just unfair Pay-to-win than using Tech Tree tanks.

Some more ideas to make it better. 1) no one sub 4 star honour can enter 2) no one sub 50%wr can enter. Do that and the quality will go up exponentially (the rage will also reduce a lot).

WOT BLITZ there is a bug the game can't find my server when ever i login in using my email it bug and cant find which server i am in it say i am in Europe but i registered my email in asia so it doesn't let me in Europe too 😩
If youre in asia server you are lucky if u got on silver league.
