I've seen every single one in your list and I gotta say, I love Blue Lock and Kuroko no Basket a lot. I sometimes wish Blue Lock was animeted by Production I.G, the goat of sports anime adaptation, but they were working on Aoi Ashi already. Studio 8-Bit did good but I feel like it was missing a lot on the 'impact' department. The sound design was cool and you could definitely hear how hard they are hitting the ball but it just doesn't match the image sometimes. I hope they could cook better this season or else, many people will be disappointed.
Blue Lock would have so much better if they were done by a studio like Production IG. Studio 8-bit just lacked the experience and knowledge to bring Blue Lock to its full capacity. Some moments were just so rough and lacked the impact as you mentioned. Hopefully, the next installment will be better animation wise.
@@hikikostudios I sincerely hope they could take leaps in their animation. They seem to be a relatively young studio that only has like 15 years of experience compared to Production I.G who has tons of experience. Besides, their founders were from Satelight, the ones who made Fairy Tail and etc so their forte is definitely not in the sports genre. If they could polish their CG a bit and maintain a similar animation quality as Episode 1-12 then I think Season 2 will be golden. That said, one can only hope lol.
We really need an Australian Rugby League animanga. That sport is intense and the hit ups would be extreme because there’s no padding and armour to wear and leaves it to pure body. There could be so much more. Americans will know about it in a month thanks to Vegas
There is one anime about rugby called All Out. It doesn't cover Australian Rugby in specific but its about the only quality anime that covers the sport of rugby. I used to play rugby in college btw.
Haikyu has 4 seasons and Blue Lock only has 1. for now there is no debate, hopefully the anime does the u20 match justice which most agree is the best match BL so far.
I know it's only five, but it feels like such a travesty to not at least mention Slam Dunk. What an absolute masterpiece. It contrasts kuruko no basket by being super grounded in reality. It reallys makes the basics really stand out and how mastering the fundamentals can elevate your game. I don't want to say too much, but even the ending had me in my feels.
We decided to do only 1 anime per sport and it was Slam Dunk or KNB. If we do a second installment of this series, we will DEFINITELY be doing a section about Slam Dunk. Personally, I love the series and I have the final manga volume in my room too. I rewatched it a lot during the Covid lockdown.
@@hikikostudios it won’t for season 3 as the previous studio was confirmed to be still on Bluelock but hopefully s3 but there’s a reason s1 cour 2 was bad similar to spy x family s2 there were only sus to be 12 episodes then plans changed leading to cour 2 being rushed
I hope this isn't a ranking because Haikyuu is definitely the most inspiring. Not only did it bring volleyball stocks up all across the world by leaps and bounds, but it also shows off the value of hard work. Not only with the protagonist, but with Kageyama having to overcome other teams defenses and Tuskishima having to grow and overcome more creative or powerful players. It's such a beautiful story that encapsulates teamwork and growth in a more inspiring way than other anime
I really love KUROKO's Basketball and the prince of tennis. I love their relationships and willingness which encouraged me to move forward in my own life especially in the hard time. They help me understand that we can trust relationship and dream.
its weird cuz i loved basketball n didnt like knb as much as the others. blue lock n aoashi made me appreciate soccer more. even tho i wasnt a fan b4. i knew nothing of volleyball but this was still the most relatable to me thru high school sports. but yeah theyre all great
Haikyuu is my favorite anime of all time! Not just sports anime but in general. Its 10000/10! Great video.

I see a thumbnail with KNB, Haikyuu and Blue Lock so I click the thumbnail, its simple as that 😂

@@hikikostudios they need to make one or I’ll do it myself. The sport is peak and needs to be recognised.
GYATTTT
Kuroko no basket is really crazy cause bro really did full court shots multiple times in a match 💀💀 Its kinda insane thinking back on it
He really pulled up and said the whole court is in my shooting zone ☠️
Initial d and kurko no basket❤❤❤❤
INITIAL D ❤️
I would say blue lock is 1# of all sports anime
Easily one of the best sports anime!
For anime I would give it to Hajime no ippo but for manga I would def say blue lock
@@WaterM2Massive W! Hajime no Ippo is my favorite

ace of diamond should be on this
There is a good chance, we will be making a series out of this topic and Ace of Diamond would definitely be on it if there was another installment.
If only Bluelock was animated by witstudios
Fr Blue Lock needs a better studio for Season 2 and moving forward

Damn fingers crossed🤞🏾
Studio definitely has it in them with the 1st episode. Hopefully, they had more time and got better from animating the 1st season
