I have a classic early 90's Redline RL340 rockn HP48 Perigrine rims with matching tyres. Skyway handle bars aime grips, odyssey cranks and disc with a GT seat pole with a tang seat clamp all matching. I brought it when I was 15yrs working my first job and stil have it 33yrs later.

You should try using some chrome half-link chains on some of your bikes. Not era appropriate but they would look awesome on some of your chrome bikes

The Shadow Supreme chain is on all my bikes. It's more beefy and more rad than the Acme chains!

49 year old reborn bmxer here .. have my redline rl20-ii but ride a 20’ Sunday Darkwave sometimes but more so my S&M ATF 24 BMX’D out with aftermarket odyssey parts .. ? is what bikes do you suggest getting today that our kids will be wanting in the future

My Robinson ‘88 pro series was American made. Favorite bike ever.
My understanding in 1989 the frames were now made exclusively by GT/Dyno. And no longer USA made.
Quality went down, the GT name did not need Robinson any longer.
Fuzzy moved to Mongoose and USA quality was losing to cheaper cost frames.
I have always wished America would not have sold out. 🇺🇸😞
Still cro-mo frames. What makes you think quality went down? I know the Turner family, why do you consider a business move selling out?

That bike was my ultimate dream.
Now I only ride S&M. It’s a pride in America thing.
I was obsessed with Robinson bikes.
My neighbor bought a new Robinson and The frame just didn’t compare to my frame gusseted earlier model and my 88. Not because of the steel but the weld quality.
I’m not a hater. Text is hard to relay my feelings without seeming like I’m acting like I know better.
