MUSIC /ESCIin school. English is taught from early primary school on throug juior-high and highschool in Norway. With additional german or spanish in junior-high and highschool (optional in highschool)..
JHF80 we can also learn French in junior-high and high school.

Sigrid is intelligent & pretty & I like her music but 12 days into 2018 is not the time to decide the sound of 2018. That's just marketing bullshit. How much did her label pay the BBC to ensure that she was positioned well?
Having said that, I'm sure she will go far on her own merits. Congrats.

Some people are just born cynical, and you Duncan fits that category. Luckily I've read that people who are overly-sceptical over other humans usually are the ones who are most likely to be victims of fraud, so there's some justice in the world at least. It has to do with lower ability to read other people, and detect lies.
Like all the rest of them she be gone in a year or two, and then onto celebrity come dancing, or the jungle for her.

the links lizard actually, most people have found her look refreshing, as the industry is already full of made up models. Her debut album just peaked nr 1 in Norway and nr 4 in the UK, something very few artists are capable of, maybe do your research first ;)
