one of the greatest house mixes of all time … and i don’t say that lightly. almost 30 years and it never gets old, only better. wonderful memories and brilliant vibes, always.
I remember walking into the dance music section of the music store when this was playing.
I bought it on the spot. It was just this beautiful experience.

This tune destroys 95% of the stuff made today. Clearly there was a lot of love for detail back then, plus they were sort of discovering and shaping house.
Back then they created songs, now they're producing tracks
Tell that to Larry Heard, Ron Hardy, Ron Trent, Steve Poindexter, or any of the other originators doing their thang 5-10+ years before this. . .The was beginning of that commercial festival global “progressive house big room” sound.

What hurts is the fact that there other tracks like this that are not available in digital formats. This is sublime deep house best served by listening with a very good set of headphones.
