Ann Druyan is a writer (A Famous Broken Heart; Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors) and the CEO of Cosmos Studios, a production company based out of Ithaca, N.Y. Ms. Druyan is also the widow of Carl Sagan, whom she collaborated with on both the Voyager Golden Record and the epic series, Cosmos
Such a beautiful soul. I can listen to her talk of her late husband all day everyday just to hear her soft voice.
I believe that a remake of Cosmos is long overdue, although the original series is still very much valid, not to mention one of the most iconic scientific series of all time. Knowing that Neil deGrasse Tyson will be anchoring it gives me great confidence that the new series will be equally interesting and have just as many ephiphenal moments. Go science!

I hope "Cosmos" on FOX TV isn't lipstick on a pig. The irony isn't lost on me. Best wishes to all concerned.
Whilst she does readily admit having used marijuana in the past, and advocates for it's decriminalisation, I personally don't think you need to be high on *anything* but life, to be incredibly excited by how awesome and beautiful our universe really is, and the role that we humans potentially have to play in it's shared future. It's what makes a great physicist, in my opinion. :)

See, people like you quote mine... You cannot and are not willing to understand the gestalt of an issue. Instead, you quote mine, cherry picking the bits you like, to build your case.

He never offered evidence of that claim, founder of QM or not and this is just another appeal to authority. His statement is worthless, and he may as well substitute God for any other entity for which there is no evidence. God's existence is not axiomatic.
When I heard that woman talk, I thought to myself, wow either she isn't a very good public speaker or she did some major drugs back in her day.
She's fried, is living off Carl Sagan's name. Let this be a lesson to all you fellas, be careful the company you keep. Basically a side piece with no education that he married.
