Good Morning Chris :) I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your efforts making your videos. As a direct result of this video ... I am now the proud owner of a CZ 457 MDT .22 I shot it for the first time yesterday and I am completly blown away with the quality and accuracy. I want you to know that your review video above was the deciding factor for my purchase! Make sure that this feedback gets back to CZ :) Thanks again for all that you do, your genuine honesty in reviewing the products is very much appreciated. All the best, Happy Plinking :)

Excellent chassis ,I have the same on my Tikka T1 ,they take any Ar 15 buffer tube type buttstock and pistol grip so the choice is huge

I put the cz457 Royal edition into that same stock (they are made just up the road from me in canada) changed the barrel to .17hmr and it is beyond accurate

when you make the full review on the 457 MDT , can you please compare it to the 457 LRP? maybe even an accuracy comparison. they are both the same gun on a different stock, and i;m undecided between them. thanx

My ONLY concern with that chassis is by the time a bipod is added, there is very little room for a bag.

Good morning. Would it be possible to know how to attach the Atlas BT65 bipod to the ring under the mdt LSS RF chassis? Thanks in advance.

would have been way more popular if It came in around the $600 price tag that the Savage B22 precision (which also comes in a MDT chassis)

If only they made a chassis like this for the cz452

MDT might if you ask them but the chassis likely costs more than a 457 action itself

Without that chassis, what regular model CZ457 does it compare to with the fluted and threaded barrel? I don't seem to see anything on the CZ website. Thanks. JimE

@@chrisparkin431 Thanks! A check of the US CZ website says that model was discontinued in 2021. Bummer!
Looking at the MTR but I don't believe it has a treaded barrel. Or, at least it doesn't say so or look like it.
Thanks again from this side of the pond. JimE

I really enjoy your channel and your joy of shooting. I bought a CZ457 LRP a little over a year ago after becoming interested in it from watching your videos, It's a tough rifle to find over here in the US. I outfitted it with an Arca rail, an Accutac bipod, and a 6-24x scope that fit my needs at the time. I've enjoyed shooting it and working on things to make it more accurate. I would like to suggest that you check out @EagleEyeShooting. Kenny is a VERY talented gunsmith and builds some of the nicest rifles you can get your hands on. I was lucky enough to get one of his CZ457 builds, and it's everything he claims them to be. It shoots .2s with a lot of Eley Match that it likes. Check out his channel on UA-cam and look at his CZ457 builds. I think you'll like it. You might even want to get your hands on one.
