It IS that he's possessed though. Throughout the series it was Gannon posessing people, (Agahnim, Ganondorf, Zelda) and then in Skyward they reveal it's a curse from the Demon King Demise in which his spirit is reincarnated to hunt Link and Zelda through time.
Imagine some dudes trying to execute you with a guillotine but it fails and you just rip it off by the chain and start swinging it around as blood shoots out of your spine.
That final scene with Midna broke me when I first saw it, and now Link is going to spend the rest of his life trying to get back to the Twilight Realm and Midna...
Exactly what I was going to say, just wanted to make sure no one beat me to it! Maybe it had a tasty larva on the hook. I can't imagine crops grow well in the desert. I bet gerudos eat insects and things like that. /you know, if they were real.
It's now part of my headcanon that when you bring out the fishing rod Ganon's thinking "What is this? What am I looking at? What kind of weapon is this?"
Remember when Liam killed Pat with the Blade of Cheater's Bane? That was hype. BUT NOT AS HYPE AS THESE LO, LO PRICES!!! *Explosion SFX* Here at MaloMart (Trademark), we strive to put customers above all, and money above them! unless people are psychic, Link does speak to some degree, we can infer, but I don't think any of them are ever all that talkative. we just don't get to hear him
Christian Hansen I agree with some of them. There were weak minor characters, but there were strong ones too. Midna is by far the best character to appear in any Zelda game and it is obvious she is the true main character (which I have no problem with). I think TP had a better story than Skyward Sword, though I wish they had used Zelda a bit more and Ganondorf felt a little tacked on at the end. I just do not like time traveling stories because they always get convoluted. OoT also had a pretty empty world and I never really wanted to revisit any of the areas. The only reason you did in OoT is because a lot of those locations had 2 dungeons in them.
And thus ends the LP of Colin pictures and "Pay me!". However, the best thing that I got from watching this LP would have to be Midna's ass. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a certain Zone animation to watch.
There were some moments in this LP where it kinda dragged, and there were audio issues and Liam just looking before he leaped wayyy too much, but y'know what? This was still a really fun ride. Thanks guys. Hope you return to the Zelda playthrough scene soon
So we spent the whole LP laughing about Colin, but you know what. Who built that fishing rod used to distract the lord of darkness himself? Colin did! Yeah, he's still not a great character though
My interpretation of Ganon is that his situation is similar to Zelda's. After the original hero defeated Demise, Demise lost a lot of power to where he can only return as a human, but still retains an echo of that power. What Skyward Sword failed to answer is what made the hero important in the first place because he reincarnates along with Zelda and Ganon. Was Skyward Sword truly the first hero or was that the first reincarnation? If SS Link was the first reincarnation, then that might mean that the original was someone important to Hylia, since her reincarnation was subconsciously attracted to him. Maybe he was a general or a fellow god who pledged himself to Hylia.
He's the destined hero who wields the third piece of the Tri-force, and is always there to slay Demises reincarnations. I don't see how that alone doesn't make him "important" enough to be included in the cycles.
First hero, and the Triforce/Goddesses/Hylia/whoever just picks a kid who seems like they won't fuck up the fight against evil. No actual reincarnation for the Links.
I know each Zelda game being set in a new timeline is how it works these days but I'd love it if they revisited certain timelines for sequels. Twilight Princess was one of my favourites so another game set in that timeline would be amazing.
After the death of the boss Colin went on to make outer sacred realm to combat the rise of M.A.L.O.M.A.R.T. whos special operations were lea by a man know as babyface who had such a lust for savings
I'm really sad with that outro.. There was an air of consensus with Liam in every playthrough TBFP did, and he seemed to always try to play the game to the best of his abilities, which isn't always the case with the others who get easily distracted with whatever topics they're talking about when they play. I guess I just get bugged when they're constantly missing important things and/or details when they play,I found that was rarely the case with Liam, he seemed like a perfectionist and cared about this playthrough. Rip old Zaibatsu.
***** As in the Zone parody flash game (That is totally not porn). And I do see pretty much every TBFP video and comment frequently, so that's surprising
***** N-Neither did I. A friend told me about it, he is a total weirdo that likes cartoon porn, not me, i'm a totally normal person, yup, just a normal dude.
I just realized... Colin's sword in the end here is quite large for him; it's as large as he is, in fact. That could be attributed to the fact that they don't make child-sized swords in Hyrule, but then that means that if he makes a living as a warrior... .... oh, god... *Colin becomes Guts*!!!
Is Midna technically naked? Cause Woolie talks about the flesh clothing of Pokemon so is the black parts covering her chest clothing or is it a part of her body?
The other Twili you see have visible nipples on the pale parts of their body, so presumably the black parts are some kind in shroud-clothing or something. So no. She also has the skirt and veil.
I'd imagine the big scar on Ganon's torso is from when the sages sealed him; remember, he was impaled during that. And I'm pretty sure Ganondorf is a reincarnation of Demise, like Link and Zelda are constantly reincarnating; he's just the only one who gets a different name when he's reborn.
I agree wholeheartedly about ages, seasons and link's awakening. I picked up link's awakening at a flea market and just felt some inseparable bond with it after I finished it, it's a damn good game and everyone needs to know
I never noticed this when I played. Ganondorf has the reins in his right hand, and the helmet in his left hand. Then it instant cuts to a sword in his raised right hand with the reins in his left hand.
I finally beat Skyward Sword to understand Groose and agree that Woolie definitely needs to finish it. I can understand why the silent trials, even though I enjoyed them myself, would kill the motivation. But the last two boss fights will answer a lot of questions and the final fight is simply awesome.
The trials aren't individually meant to represent power courage and wisdom. Link uses his courage during a trial when he can't use a sword, he uses his wisdom to solve dungeon puzzles left by the goddess, and uses his power to overwhelm a boss. Skyward sword is probably one of the best thought out zeldas.
The best part of this fight is the fact you can distract Ganondorf with a fishing rod and in Skyward Sword, you can distract Demise with a butterfly net. The fact that Ganondorf is reincarnated from Demise makes this joke even funnier XD
If you look at the end credits very carefully, you'll notice when Link is riding back to the village on Epona, he doesn't disappear at the end of the road. He freezes until it cuts to black.
I know the Best Friends fanbase and the Zelda fanbase seems polarized, but I gotta say Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are still my favorite games in the series and I hold them in high regard. I agree with some of the criticisms here and there, but Twilight Princess never felt hollow or empty IMHO. My only wish was that there was an another sword to obtain like the Biggoron Sword and that we got a Sumo tournament type game with the Goron's for a heart-piece or something. Honestly, I may get lambasted for this, but if Twilight Princess is supposed to be a remake of Ocarina of Time then for the most part I prefer this remake.
I have to say, this is my favorite final Ganondorf boss in the whole Zelda series. Each layer of the fight with him is great, you got the wolf fight because you need the wolf form to play a part in the final boss somehow, you got the horseback fight which for the horseback combat that was shown off in the game, and my personal favorite, a classic sword vs sword, mano e mano dual in the middle of a field. Say what you want about TP but it is the most cinematic Zelda game made yet :)
2:30 no, the scar is from the backstory...remember? The old ones tried to seal him by stabbing him to a pillar, but he was too beast to just go like that.... He also had the glowing wound in his human form
I mean they did play StairFax Temperatures, and a lot of people didn't like that either. So I'm sure they would agree to doing a playthrough/lp of Skyward Sword, probably even for Woolie, with possibly Woolie playing it.
I want to see an older Link as a merc who has lost his right to weild the triforce of courage and train the next hero of time up. Of course they could go the future trunks route with link which could be cool as well.
Too soon Liam, too soon. That last minute.... The LP just finished and you had to show that. RIP Super Best Friends play The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Vin Diesel would be proud.
The gauntlet has been thrown. The finale battle has reached its climax. The gods themselves watch in awe as this battle of good and evil will soon shake the earth!!! *link whips out a fishing rod* Ganon:What is this technique!?
7:35 Midna got BACK! And I can see Princess Zelda practically has the personality of Princess Bubblegum. She don't need Link to comfort her at night. She has a Kingdom to run.
Ganondorf gets distracted because he's from the desert and has never heard of fishing, so to him a fishing rod could be the deadliest weapon he's never heard of, so he's GOTTA keep an eye on it.
Ganondorf the Gerudo is not possessed by a demon, he gains that form when he gets the triforce of power. In the Zelda 1 timeline he gets trapped in the Sacred Realm and is stuck in that form permanently thereafter. He's always been essentially a demon though, and he can always come back from the dead, for reasons that Woolie needs to play Skyward Sword to find out.
18:57 - Myth has it that it _is_ in fact, physically possible to die standing up-- but you do need to be wearing, like, full-on plate armor that is close to being able to stand on it's own anyways.
And so ends another thrilling adventure. Now Liam has to put up on behalf of all of us that did play the oracle games and get Seasons or/and Ages on the channel. CREATE AN ENDLESS DAY THAT THEY WORK ON THE LP WITHOUT REST
I was just thinking as Liam was saying why he didn't remember Skyward Sword as strongly, and I think the reason I was okay with that game going on as long as it did was because it felt appropriate with what was happening in the story. Like it never tried to pull the "false ending" card that other games and movies like to play. It never did the thing where "All was well again, or so it seemed...EXCEPT IT WASNT CUZ THEY DIDNT BEAT THE TRUE BAD GUY OR THEY DIDNT BEAT HIM ENOUGH" like that never happened and that's usually when I personally think a game or movie is dragging, is when the creators let THAT shit happen.
"It's GOTTA be the beast possessing the man... because the other Gerudo can't do that..."
_He has the Triforce of Power, Woolie._
And he's described as a sorcerer like every time. Fuck that though. Mystical space-time bullshit away!
+Ulquiorra4sama the cosmic prank
Skyward Sword tells all.
It IS that he's possessed though. Throughout the series it was Gannon posessing people, (Agahnim, Ganondorf, Zelda) and then in Skyward they reveal it's a curse from the Demon King Demise in which his spirit is reincarnated to hunt Link and Zelda through time.

Not just Link and Zelda, but all descendants of the Goddess Hylia. Aka, the entire population of Hyrule.
Did they forget that Ganon got that scar from the Sage's trying to execute him with that light sword? The same light sword he is wielding?
That's one of my favorite things about this Ganondorf. HE DEFIES DEATH THEN USES HIS OWN EXECUTION WEAPON TO CONQUER, HOW RAD IS THAT

Me too. Once I saw her true form I just knew.
Also, nice to see a fellow Argonian fan. Best race in the Elder Scrolls series.
+TyranusRex721 nah bruh.
imp waifu is where it's at
That's correct.
Woolie according to lore Gannon who lived in a desert all his life doesn't know what a fishing rod is and thus thinks it is a weapon...
This makes too much sense.
Link is basically Gon from Hunter X Hunter.
Exactly what I was going to say, just wanted to make sure no one beat me to it! Maybe it had a tasty larva on the hook. I can't imagine crops grow well in the desert. I bet gerudos eat insects and things like that.

HE DIDN'T WIN! HE DIDN"T WIN! Oh wait... he actually didn't though.
It's now part of my headcanon that when you bring out the fishing rod Ganon's thinking

"Pay... you?" - Link
The biggest character development in the history of gaming

I love how she retains her personality, cuz she's all like "You want some of this bad boy ;) ?"
Still my favorite game of all time. Also, I cried so hard when I first finished the game and Midna left.
I still cry.
R.I.P. Super Best Friends Play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (March 19, 2016 - July 14, 2016)
Jesus christ four months of this? Boy what a journey compared to Dark Souls 3.
Yes. I know right? It was fun while it lasted.
Dark Souls 3 episodes were only 1 day apart each, Twilight Princess episodes were 2 days apart each.

sad to see this awesome playthrough come to an end. Its fun to them playing through a game I enjoy so much.
TP is my personal favorite Zelda game. So glad they played it.
+TyranusRex721 What did you think about their comments at the end?
Christian Hansen I agree with some of them. There were weak minor characters, but there were strong ones too. Midna is by far the best character to appear in any Zelda game and it is obvious she is the true main character (which I have no problem with). I like that Liam showed the fishing rod trick easter egg but I wish he didn't do it the whole match. One and done, Liam, one and done.
Yeah. The first time he did it was funny, but it cheapened an awesome final boss fight.
Yeah. Too bad. It would have been great to hear them talking about the fight and not about this one little trick.
+Desgaroth Final Boss Aficionados hate this one weird trick
Do you know what channel you are on? It would be a disservice to the fans and themselves if they didn't beat it cheating and lame.
It's not Liam's fault that the developers put that trick into their already laughably easy game. I think he was right to expose it.
I never thought about it before but technically Ganon's a werewarthog that's kinda cool.
I love adult midna's form, why didn't link jump on that? I'd jump on that˜
"Would you like tostay for dinner?"
"Would you like to stay foreverr?"

There were some moments in this LP where it kinda dragged, and there were audio issues and Liam just looking before he leaped wayyy too much, but y'know what? This was still a really fun ride.
Thanks guys. Hope you return to the Zelda playthrough scene soon
Also the final boss of this game > Skyward Sword's final boss
#FuckDemise #PAYME
Always a cool shock to see you guys watch some of the same things as me
Ganon refusing to look away from the fishing pole is similar to Pat constantly touching his nose during a fighting game.
Ahhhh the music during the Beast Ganon fight is the bestttt
I love that Link looks almost afraid to go get his sword back
This should have been Liam's last LP. He did such a good job with the editing in this one, and THAT ENDING... JUST PERFECT....
The scar under Pig Ganon is from when he got the a sword stabbed through him earlier in the game.
To be fair, Ganondorf was born in a desert. He's probably never seen a fishing pole before. So he just assumes it's a secret weapon or something.
There's a manga that came with Hyrule Historia that answers just that.
No actual reincarnation for the Links.
the hole in his chest is from his failed execution the sages performed. its also where he got his light sword.
I know each Zelda game being set in a new timeline is how it works these days but I'd love it if they revisited certain timelines for sequels. Twilight Princess was one of my favourites so another game set in that timeline would be amazing.
WHERE IS IT? THE LAST COLIN?
Nothing was ever truly promised...
Settle for my Midna instead ;P
AfroMetalMizu Your offering is gratefully accepted.
WHERE'S SCARECROW? I KNOW HE HAS IT!
The last Colin was inside us all along.
Ganon does his best impression of one pieces Whitebeard, dying with a weapon in his chest standing.
After the death of the boss Colin went on to make outer sacred realm to combat the rise of M.A.L.O.M.A.R.T. whos special operations were lea by a man know as babyface who had such a lust for savings
"What's that tear in his chest from?" Gee, I dunno, it's not like there was a cutscene where he was impaled by a magic sword.
I'm really sad with that outro..
There was an air of consensus with Liam in every playthrough TBFP did, and he seemed to always try to play the game to the best of his abilities, which isn't always the case with the others who get easily distracted with whatever topics they're talking about when they play. Is it time for Mattrick and Woolbert to return to the land of Bleetzball and Racism?
Can we go straight to FFX-2?
dude I need some time to recover from the rage that was ffx
So is Ganon a cat or something? Easily distracted by objects on string?
Part fish. As you can see he's a little green around the gills. Plus he's attracted to fishing hooks.
If I lived in a desert all my life I'd be pretty confused by fish lures too.
Well he is a thief and the fishing lure is a super rare and valuable earring.
He's a manfishpig
welcome back to liam is only on time for HYPE ASS BOSS FIGHTS
Is Midna technically naked? Cause Woolie talks about the flesh clothing of Pokemon so is the black parts covering her chest clothing or is it a part of her body?
Under the cloak, you mean? She's still wearing a loincloth, at least.
The other Twili you see have visible nipples on the pale parts of their body, so presumably the black parts are some kind in shroud-clothing or something. So no. She also has the skirt and veil.
nah
while on her imp form the black part is part of her body, but in her human-esque form it's clothes
+Iffem that makes no sense

I can understand why the silent trials, even though I enjoyed them myself, would kill the motivation.
But the last two boss fights will answer a lot of questions and the final fight is simply awesome.
And so the only playthrough with good editing comes to an end. Hope you guys do more of that in the lps to come.
"You thought it was the Hero of Time, but it was ME! SEGA BASS FISHING!"
Ganondorf just stares at the lure in shock.
I'll miss Liam's editing more than I'll miss the LP itself.
Still my fav Zelda game! Thanks for playing this guys! :D

The best part of this fight is the fact you can distract Ganondorf with a fishing rod and in Skyward Sword, you can distract Demise with a butterfly net. The fact that Ganondorf is reincarnated from Demise makes this joke even funnier XD
I didn't like all the "pay me" jokes but when Woolie said "pay you" to Midna I almost spat out my soda laughing.
I discovered this channel when I randomly started this LP and I'll always love your guy's commentary throughout. I'm also enjoying the Catherine LP c:
If you look at the end credits very carefully, you'll notice when Link is riding back to the village on Epona, he doesn't disappear at the end of the road. He freezes until it cuts to black.
Link kills Ganon every game he's in and nobody does anything about it. Gerudo people gets no love :(
I hope the Gerudo return in Breath of the Wild. They are so cool.

Dammit, you guys always know how to bring out the joy, that ending was great! Can't wait to see what's next...
So any chance we can get the skyward sword playthrough? maybe Liam won't forget the cookies
A lot of people don't like SS. It's one of my favourites.
I wanna see Woolie finish it! And/or fuck up.
I mean they did play StairFax Temperatures, and a lot of people didn't like that either. So I'm sure they would agree to doing a playthrough/lp of Skyward Sword, probably even for Woolie, with possibly Woolie playing it.
R.I.P. To my homie Link(Twilight Princess): The hero of pay me!! 2006-2016
Im both touched at the sencerity of that very last scene and angered by the fact that it wasnt Colin's face on Paul.
And so ends one of the best LPs on the channel
No Colin? Blasphemy! This is the final episode how can you let it be so flaccid?!
Anyway great LP.
I want to see an older Link as a merc who has lost his right to weild the triforce of courage and train the next hero of time up. Of course they could go the future trunks route with link which could be cool as well.
2:56 - Awh, I never noticed that the rubble still gets knocked around everywhere, that's pretty neat!
Fellas? That scar Ganon has on his chest is from his failed execution.
I can't believe you guys forgot about Ty the Tasmanian Tiger
Honestly expected Colin in that last scene.
Klonoa reference during a TP LP finale. I love Super Best Friends
This was a great LP. Hopefully we can see another Zelda game sometime in the future.
The best final image to end the LP.
Too soon Liam, too soon. That last minute.... The LP just finished and you had to show that. RIP Super Best Friends play The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Vin Diesel would be proud.
This is probably my favourite Zelda ending/final boss fight next to Wind Waker.
Good thing Liam used the fishing pole during the Gannondorf fight, we almost had an awesome end to the playthrough!
The gauntlet has been thrown. The finale battle has reached its climax. The gods themselves watch in awe as this battle of good and evil will soon shake the earth!!!
*link whips out a fishing rod*
Ganon:What is this technique!?
Every time! Every dramatic moment, ruined by controller charge! It's the best!
7:35 Midna got BACK! And I can see Princess Zelda practically has the personality of Princess Bubblegum. She don't need Link to comfort her at night. She has a Kingdom to run.
I was expecting Malo in the place of Paul Walker. 😂
Ganondorf gets distracted because he's from the desert and has never heard of fishing, so to him a fishing rod could be the deadliest weapon he's never heard of, so he's GOTTA keep an eye on it.
Every shard of the mirror gives people and animals dark magical powers, plunging Hyrule into chaos.
I think Ganadorf is reincarnated Demise then he became Ganon after gaining so much power and the Boar symbolizes his greed and lust for power
AHHH! NOOO ITS OVER! That ending is exactly how I'm feeling :'( I really will miss all of this, but I'm glad it happened
Why can't Midna replace Zelda?
Why can't midna replace all Zelda characters
Eh we had cute Zelda in Skyward Sword
18:57 - Myth has it that it _is_ in fact, physically possible to die standing up-- but you do need to be wearing, like, full-on plate armor that is close to being able to stand on it's own anyways.
And so ends another thrilling adventure. Now Liam has to put up on behalf of all of us that did play the oracle games and get Seasons or/and Ages on the channel. CREATE AN ENDLESS DAY THAT THEY WORK ON THE LP WITHOUT REST
rewatching old Liam videos for old times sake
