the third brother was the only one who still bowed to Death, he remembered who truly had the power and was humble about it
I agreed
That’s why they left this World as equals
I kinda love the IRONY that those who inherited the hallows in the end were completely opposite to their uses. Harry, who is courageous and bold, leaping into a fight, ended up with the cloak to hide and escape. Dumbledore, the pacifist and gentle wizard who prefers to always avoid unnecessary combat and even so, lethal blows, ended up with the most powerful weapon, and Voldemort, who is terribly fraid of dying and wants to reject his past at all cost, ended up with the stone to bring ghosts of his past. Tell me this isn't a perfect match :D?
I remember a saying that Voldemort died for power, Snape died for love, and Harry embraced death.
yes, but the Stone belonged to Voldemort's Grandfather, passed down from generation to generation because Voldemort is actualy related to the Peverel. So by heritage, the ring is his. Same goes for Harry, the elder wand was the only not passed by heritage, but being stolen from owner to owner.
MrKlausbaudelaire I like your name I've read all of the books
Yeah, that's another good interpretation, along with the one matching the three brothers with Voldemort, Snape and Harry respectively
Don't forget the cloak as it was passed from father to son.
I never really noticed how gruesome this story was. I mean I read it multiple times but it's really only since watching this video did I realise just HOW gruesome it is. You can literally see (if you really concentrate) the point were the second brother kicks the chair out from under him to hang himself.
I know :/
Damn.
The story is incredibly dark. Then again. Ever since book three (dementors...) it is getting darker and dsrker. And I dig it!
Still, the ritual to create a horcrux was seemingly too dark and gruesome to publish.
Do I even want to know...?
Look at the son's height in proportion to Ignatius handing him the cloak. He left behind a young child.
"Death's got an invisibility cloak?"
"Well, he got tired of running after people, flapping his arms."
lol, might be time to get a new job, right? lol
“Shrieking.”
The story is similar to 'The Pardoner's Tale' a traditional story from the middle ages that was included in the 'Canterbury Tales'.
In the story three men escape from a plague-ridden village and take shelter in an Inn. They curse death for destroying their village and taking so many of their friends- and they swear they would make him pay if they only knew where to find him. An old man hears them and asks them if they want to know how to find death, he then tells them, Death is hiding under an old oak tree. They visit the oak tree and start digging and they find a chest full of gold.
They decide that they will share the gold equally- and send the youngest of them off to get wine and bread.
But the youngest one wants all the money for himself- so he adds poison to the wine. When he gets back the other two leap on him and stab him to death- figuring they can split his share. Before they start sharing the gold they decide to have a glass of wine...
And so all three men met Death.
+Cheeseanonioncrisps Damn...that's dark
Under the tree, the old man wasn't lying.
Oh god... That escalated quickly so quickly...
Bitch I didn't ask for yo sob story now we're dem ghost pokemans at
You might not get that reference
I can't see the rest of the comment god fucking damn it.
midnight, mom always said midnight.
pwebes Ron!
pwebes Twilight is good too. Better even.
Ron does NOT like Twilight. He knew somethink.
*ball shriveling ice cold stare*
If only James was there to tell the story to Harry as little boy and end the story like. "And the third brother's son however, had no sons of his own, only a daughter named Ioanthe. She would grow up to be a beautiful woman and later married a young potion maker named Potter"
This song is absolutely wonderful. God, I swear I get shivers every freaking time she bids goodbye to one of the brother. I'm totally listening to this for as long as I can
Same.
Death = Albus Dumbledore
First Brother = Lord Voldemord
Second Brother = Severus Snape
Third Brother = Harry Potter
Could be true
You should say Tom Marvolo Riddle
Each of the Hollows is related to immortality at some level. The Elder Wand makes it user in invincible in magic duels unless overpowered by an opponent, The Stone was created because Cadmus wanted to revive the dead, and Ignotus removed himself from death's list until he chose to put himself back on it.
Lyrics: The Peverell Story
Once happened to cross fair brothers tree
Who thought they could use all their magic to thwart me
But I, being Death, being sly blocked their path
And said, 'Brave, cunning brothers, oh, what do you asked,
I will give each a prize and let brothers pass.'
The first brother begged, 'Please, Death, make me a tool
One that will win every fight, every duel.'
So I broke branch off of an elder tree
And I fashioned the wand for he thought he was worthy
And give elder wand to the eldest of tree
Go, Brother, I bid thee good night
I promised you'll win all your battles and fights
But your wand will be stolen and you will be slain
And you and I will meet again
The next brother cried, 'Give me magic instead
The power to bring others back from the death.'
So I picked up a stone from the riverside
And I told him the pebble had magic inside
It will bring back the death and his departed bride
Go, Brother, I bid thee good night
You'll see your love soon but things will not be right
You'll drive yourself crazy for she won't be whole
And then I will claim your soul
The youngest brother said, 'Death, I don't trust your ways
Please, leave me alone till the end of my days.'
And though I was reluctant, he was the wisest of the three
So I gave him my cloak of invisibility
And I let the young brother go free
Go, Brother, I bid thee goodnight
Go take your new cloak and go live out your life
Be happy and healthy, and when you are ready
You can take off your cloak and join me
And that is the story of The Peverell Brothers
They each made their choice, one wiser than others
They stripped me of the wand, and of cloak, and of stone
And I bade young Ignotus be selfless and roam
And many years passed till he call me his home
But I took the other two for my own.
On the fourth paragraph the word should be "Dead" not "Death"
Still one of my fav Potter vids. So beautiful and haunting. I loved the animation sequence in DH, and you've made it even better by putting it with this song.
This... was exactly what the tale of the three brothers deserved.
Beautiful, yet haunting. Alluring and frightening. Both sides of the coin. Wonderful.
You are so right
"Open up..."
Alistair Peverell was currently sitting down on his bed inside the Hospital Wing, waiting for Madam Pomfrey to arrive in order to examine him one last time before finally releasing him from the hospital wing. He awaited her arrival while at the company of his Ravenclaw friends, Xenophilius and Pandora. They were sitting on the bed where Alistair was laying on top of it, taking turns on spoon-feeding him Cherry Ice cream.
So good... Alistair thought as he felt the taste on his mouth. "Do you have any more detention?" He asked Xenophilius as he put a spoonful of ice cream on his mouth.
"No, my last detention was yesterday." His candyfloss textured haired friend replied. "Though I do believe that Professor Slughorn only released me in order to hide his secret stash of illicit potions for recreational purposes." Xeno told him his latest conspiracy theories.
"Recreational purposes?" As always, Alistair just went along with it because they were too fun to ignore.
"Think about it, some of the members of the Slug Club are always in such a happy mood, even the ones that are exceptionally in a bad mood all the time." Xeno presented his crazy theory, and Alistair mostly laughed it off.
"Xeno, I would have noticed if he was using some type of "recreational" potion on the students." He pointed out as Pandora spoon-feed him next.
"That's what I said." Pandora added.
"But that's the thing, how would you know?" Xeno decided to add as well before he fed him the last piece of the ice cream .
Before Alistair could give him a counter argument. Madam Pomfrey finally arrived at the Hospital Wing. "Hello, you three." She greeted them as she approached the bed. The three waved at her and Xeno and Pandora immediately stood up from the bed to give her space to examine Alistair. "How are feeling today, Mr. Peverell?" She asked as she inspected his torso.
"Well, most of the pain is gone except for my hand which still hurts a bit." He informed the Matron. "But other than that, I'm good to go."
"Your hand is going to take a few more days to be completely healed." She informed him, before she handed him one last potion for him to consume.
The blond boy drank the potion, which tasted sweet. Not bad...
"You're free to return to your usual activities," Madam Pomfrey told him before inspecting his hand. "But take it easy with that hand, as the damage on it was pretty severe."
The damage in everything was severe to be honest. He thought in response to what she said. "I will..." But that was his solo reply.
"Alright then," Madam Pomfrey then went to grab something up from the small cabinet next to the bed to retrieve something from it. "Ms. Evans was kind enough to have your uniform washed and brought here herself for your release." She informed the blond boy of it.
"Oh... Really?" The blond boy asked with Madam Pomfrey nodding in confirmation.
I mean... She is my girlfriend now so... Almost a week ago, Lily Evans revealed to him that he was the boy that she fancied and Alistair after receiving that information, completely reevaluated what his feelings were on the matter. Which turned out to be, that he felt the same way about Lily, so the two officially became a couple as a result. There was only one problem, which was the thing that Alistair was aiming to avoid after finding out that Lily fancied someone, but he has absolutely no idea on how to avoid it for himself.
"Mr. Peverell, don't take this the wrong way but... Try to stay out of the Hospital Wing from now on." She requested him.
Alistair just chuckled in response. "I'll try."
With that, Madam Pomfrey left the trio alone.
Alistair stood up from the bed and Pandora closed the privacy screen for him to get dressed.
"Are you going to class?" Pandora asked him as he took off the outfit he was wearing.
"Yes, the Transfiguration class is twenty-minutes." Alistair spoke as he put on his uniform's trousers. "They said I could take the day off, but I really want to go back to class." He informed his friends.
"It could be a side effect of the illicit potions, making you so eager to go back to class." Xeno started to go at it once again, which Alistair just rolled his eyes in response.
"Or maybe, because I have nothing else to do and all of my other friends are there." Alistair gave him his counter-argument.
"Speaking of which, we have History of Magic in fifteen minutes." Pandora told her boyfriend as she awaited Alistair to finish dressing up. "But sometimes I get the feeling that what we're being told is not really what happened."
"Bloody hell, don't you start with the conspiracy theories as well Pandora." The blond boy immediately complained as he put on his shoes on. "Besides, it's obvious it didn't happen precisely as he said , but the vast majority was documented by people that were indeed there." He gave an argument to Pandora.
"But, some of it could be lies." She added to him as she creeped her head above the screen.
"Some of it is definitely lies." Alistair agreed with her on that. "Some people usually write their own story in order to make it look better that it actually was."
The blond boy then proceeded to button-up his shirt but he was having difficulty due to his hand. Pandora immediately noticed and opened the screen and approached him before she buttoned his shirt for him. "Thanks." He told her.
"You're welcome." She then fixed Alistair's hair which was messy to the point of looking like James's hair.
"Here." Xeno grabbed a brush that belonged to Alistair and helped his girlfriend brush their friend's hair.
Soon enough, Alistair' medium-length blond hair was perfectly brushed back as it should be. "Thanks friends." He immediately grabbed his eccentric friends into a hug, which they immediately returned.
"We´re very glad to see you up again." Xeno told him as he hugged him tightly.
"And we would be very happy if you followed Madam Pomfrey's advice." Pandora added as she hugged him tightly.
Alistair just smiled at them before he separated from the hug, then he picked up his sweater, tie and robe and put it on. "I'll start following her advice by getting out of here."

"Hey!"
The moment that Alistair Lancelot Peverell stepped inside the classroom, he had a reception that he was absolutely not expecting. Which was basically every single Gryffindor inside the class rising from their seats and approaching him to greet him. Though, his friends were the loudest.
"There he is!" Sirius yelled happily before grabbing him into a hug and lifting him off the floor. "Alistair Peverell, up and running again!"
"It's so good to see you standing." Remus was the second one to grab him into a hug as soon as Sirius put him down.
Peter also gave him a hug.
"Hey..." James was the last one to hug him, but he was the one that gave him the tightest hug.
"I would hex those bastards if they were still here." It was Alice's sole response before she also hugged him.
Once everyone was done greeting the Peverell boy, there were two people that didn't approached him. Standing in the middle of the classroom, there was two people that Alistair was looking forward to seeing, which was Mary Macdonald and Lily Evans. Lily seemed to be encouraging Mary to do or say something to him but she seemed reluctant. Wait, does she... It only took a few seconds for him to figure out what was wrong.
"Hey," Alistair responded by touching her shoulders before speaking. "Don't blame yourself for what happened, I have absolutely no regrets and would do it again in a heartbeat." It was truth, though, if he could go back, he would have definitely been more careful to avoid his injuries but the sentiment still the same.
Mary still looks a little upset, but she gave him a hug after he said. "I'm so glad you're okay..."
"Me too..." He replied as he returned the hug.
Once the two separated from their hug, there was only one person left for him to hug. But he clearly didn't have to as the red headed wasted no second in enveloping the blond boy into a bone breaking hug in front of everyone. Alistair returned the hug instantly and the two stood like, making the longest hug so far.

"Everyone take your seats please."
Before anyone could question why they were hugging each other for so long, Professor McGonagall entered the classroom and ordered the Gryffindors to sit down.
Before Alistair could separate from Lily however, she whispered something on his ear. "Meet me at the Owlery after class." She separated from him afterwards and went take her seat next to Mary.
"Mr. Peverell, I'm glad to see you recovered." Professor McGonagall spoke as soon as she closed the distance.
"Me too." Alistair replied. "Thanks for the material that you sent in order for me to not stay behind in class." Remus delivered some of the classes assignments for him.
"It was no problem, you're one of my best students and it would be a shame if you're studies got compromised because of those two." Professor McGonagall spoke with quite a lot of disgust on her voice over the subject of Mulciber and Avery. "I don't know if you were informed, but they were expelled three days ago."
"Yes, Remus told me." Alistair was aware of it. "Through, I assume a considerable amount of their Housemates were not exactly pleased with their departure." A lot of the students at Slytherin probably saw that as a Blood-Traitor defending a Mudblood and getting two "respectful" Pure-Blood Wizards expelled.
"Your assumption is correct, and if you have any trouble from any member of Slytherin, don't hesitate to inform about it." The Professor instructed him. "Now, take your seat."
Alistair just nodded before moving to take his seat next to Remus.
This is what the story should be like, very Grimm.
Hit me like a truck. This brought me straight back to my HP phase
Ja man brudiiii
The first brother wanted power, ambition is a Slytherin trait. The 2nd brother asked for the power to raise the death. Not for power but to bring back his wife. Which shows great loyalty and indicates a Hufflepuff. The elder brother was smart enough to think that death might trick him. He then was smart enough to hide. Until finally he learned not to be scared of death anymore. Thus i would say the third brother is a Ravenclaw.
+AshleeTheSimstress Selflessness is a Hufflepuff trait
+Lilly Cassidy That might be true, but I agree with Ashlee TheSimstress.
He may have traits of a Hufflepuff, but for some reason I wanna say he was a Gryffindor
The eldest brother wanted all the power, agreed, a Slytherin trait. But the second brother, in "the Tales of Beedle the Bard" it said "The second brother, wanting to humiliate death further," so, from that, we can say the second brother was to prideful, a typical Slytherin trait. And the third brother was brave enough to be humble in his victory over death, I'd say, a Gryffindor trait.
+Saphire Swan Pride is not a Slytherin trait.
MsSheerAwesomeness not pride, to much pride, a lack humility, an arrogance, IS a, typical, Slytherin trait.
I love how the one who wanted power begged, the one who wanted magic cried and the one who wanted peace just says.
But they didn't want to thwart you! They just wanted to cross a damn bridge!
Rather late comment but the brothers cheated death by using magic to build a bridge over a ravine (river or whatever can't be bothered to check) that was said to claim a lot of lives.
they didn't care about cheating death! they just wanted to get where they were going!
+Elizabeth Lingurar We didn't want to steal what's yours, we just wanted to be rich !
Elizabeth Lingurar In the book/movie they didn't care about cheating death, yes, but they had used magic to build a bridge which most people would have drowned in, since it was much too treacherous to pass by foot, death felt cheated, and so congratulated the brothers instead, then this is where the song plays out, and the the youngest brother and death lartrsd this world as equals.
Remember your damn literature kids.
Elizabeth Lingurar they just wanted the shade of the tree!!!!
I just thought about harry using the stone to bring Merope back (before the final battle) Would really love to have seen that
"Just FYI your son is a total fuckwit"
God l love this sooooo much!!!! Her voice just draws you into the story.
Death was Ravenclaw, clever enough to make the other two brothers trust in him. I feel like the first brother is a Slytherin, because he wanted power and ambition and all that Slytherin things. The second brother was definitely a Hufflepuff, all he wanted was to see his loved one again. And the last brother was a wise Gryffindor, he wanted to keep him and his family safe and when he was ready join Death, he wasn't scared of Death he just wanted his family to be safe.
I see it as Death - Slytherin - cunning and manipulative. Living off the fine prints. The first brother - Gryffindor - combative and physical. The second brother - Hufflepuff - loving and wants nothing but those he loves by his side. And the last brother - Ravenclaw - intelligent/wise enough to know not to ask for great favors from cunning Death, but to avoid him at all costs.
Being a 'pottermore Gryffindor' myself I agree with you. The wisest can't be a Gryffindor over a Ravenclaw!
I likehow we all agree over Hufflepuff being the one wanting nothing but love haha.
+Du Pic Hufflepuff is just like "please anybody love meeee" xD
The first brother is Voldemort the second is snape for lily back and the third person is dumbedore so yes last grynfindoor and first slytherin
I personally think that the death would be Slytherin; they're usually clever and also has a lot of power. The first brother would be Gryffindor in my opinion because he was brave enough to fight. So the second brother would also be a Hufflepuff just as you said, but it could probably be anyone. And the third would be a Ravenclaw; he made the wisest decision.
But I also agree with your idea it makes sense for me too ^-^
(Sorry for my shitty English, it isn't my first language. )
thanks this really helps with homework (at Hogwarts of course!)
Binns told us to do a story about the Peverell brothers so thanks! MADAM PINCE YOU DIDN'T HELP AT ALL!!! the library failed me... 😭

I'm a girl
Sorry!
i love this everything about it was just perfect ! the song the way Hermione voice fits perfect ! omg chills
Oh my Merlin I love this song so very much
Neila “Oh my Merlin”
Beautiful Song! But here are 2 mistakes: 1. the second brother didn’t want the stone to bring back is love. He wanted it to humble the death. He was actually surprised that his love came back. 2. Death wasn’t happy to give up his cloack of invisibility. He was actually verry pissed about that. (But those are minor nitpicks. I love this song!)
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm documenting this now... This is the first song of the Butterbeer Experience I've ever heard.. And I'm in love... So........ OMG< THIS IS AMAZING!!
If the oldest and middle brother had more wisdom they could have lived as long as the youngest, even with the Elder Wand and the Ressurection Stone.
Can anyone else fall asleep to this easily
This is SO. GOOD. Missed out on this until just now because I only ever heard the songs on Accio Hot Guy... I can't believe this wasn't more widespread within fandom. It's easily one of the best wrock songs I've heard.
Ignotus was the bravest of the three
No he was just the wisest
Ignotus was a Ravenclaw.
Grace Batterson and you evidence is where?
None, really. Just a head cannon of mine. He had wisdom which is a common quality in your Ravenclaw. I feel as though the first brother was a Gryffindor, being so brazen and dueling someone and holding a grudge and all that. The second seems to be a Slytherin, given his cunning to seek a power to reunite with his long lost love. Just a theory. No offense intended.
Grace Batterson If I'm following the timelines correctly, wouldn't the brothers predate Hogwarts? Because wasn't Salazar descended from Cadmus? EDIT: Nevermind, no, Salazar and Cadmus' lines wound up marrying, resulting in the Gaunts.
Death is a Slytherin!
I once happened 'cross fair brothers three
Who thought they could use all their magic to thwart me
But I, being Death, being SLY blocked their path
And said "Brave, cunning brothers oh what do you ask
I agree with you. I think death represents Slytherin, the first brother Ravenclaw (maybe also Slytherin), the second brother Hufflepuff and finally the last brother Gryffindor.
+Anne Kraus I disagree I think the first brother is Gryffindor as he made a bold choice to defeat his enemies or maybe Slytherin. I do agree the second is Hufflepuff, but I think the third is Ravenclaw as that is a smart choice not necessarily a brave one.
I honesty thought Gryphondor was the eldest beige was so bold
That Ravenclaw was the second for craving magic of the impossible
And Hufflepuff was the youngest because although wise, was humble and even in the end bowed to death in greeting after making sure his son was safe by giving them the cloak.
But this is just me I don't really know. XD
+Shallowhart001 I always thought of death being a Ravenclaw the eldest brother being Slitherin the middle brother being Hufflepuff and the youngest Gyffindore here's why death was an evil Ravenclaw having people trust in him using his wits the oldest brother was Slitherin because he wanted power the middle was Hufflepuff because he had good intentions wanting to see his loved ones again the youngest is griffindore because he wasn't scared of death and just wanted to be safe from him... I like yours better and I want to believe it there's just something that doesn't want me to...
All the brothers look like Slytherins...
@rraacchh2 You know, in the original Grimm fairy tales, there was a lot of gore. People taking heads home, eating internal organs, and yes; pigs getting eaten by wolves. Little Red Riding Hood? There was no brave woodsman. The Little Mermaid? (Though it was Hans Christian Andersen.) She committed suicide because the prince married another woman. Fairy tales aren't all happy. This is actually really, really close to the Grimm stuff. Disney just happy-ed everything up.
And yes. I'm a Ravenclaw.
I hope that j.k do make a prequel book about peverell brothers?
In Norse mythology Death was a girl. Lady Hela ruled of Helheim, (asphodel in pjo) and Niflhiem. (fields of punishment in pjo).
Hela Lokisdaughter. You don't mess with her, she's the most powerful woman in all of the Galaxies.
Am here in 2020
I once happened to cross fair brothers three. They thought they could use all their magic to thwart me! But I, being Death, being sly blocked their path. I love this! I like that song's lyrics match to every scene of video :D
this is so dark
No, I don't own the song, it is from a band called "The butterbeer Experience" you can found more music on ther webistes (links in the description)
I just made a video for the song. But the song ISN'T mine.
Well, one of them actually lived to old age. Unless he held immortality, then that would have been normal.
what are the lyrics for this song? It's amazing. The singer and developer should be proud of this work. :)
Lyrics transcribed by me.
I once happened across fair brothers three
Who thought they could use all their magic to thwart me
But I, being Death, being sly, blocked their path
And said “brave, cunning brothers, oh what do you ask?
I will give each a prize and then let brothers pass”
The first brother begged, “Oh, Death, make me a tool,
A wand that will win every fight, every duel!”
So I broke a branch off of an elder tree,
And I fashioned a wand, for he thought he was worthy.
And gave elder wand to the eldest of three.
(Chorus)
Go, brother, I bid thee goodnight,
I promised you’d win all your battles and fights,
But your wand will be stolen and you will be slain
Then you and I will meet again.
The next brother cried, “give me magic instead!
The power to bring others back from
the dead!”
So I picked up a stone from the riverside
And I told him the pebble had magic inside.
It would bring back the dead and his departed bride.
(Chorus)
Go, brother, I bid thee goodnight,
You’ll see your love soon, but things will not be right,
You’ll drive yourself crazy, for she won’t be whole,
And then I will claim your soul.
The youngest brother said, “Death,
I don’t trust your ways.
“Please leave me alone till the end of my days!”
And though I was reluctant, he was the wisest of the three
So I gave him my cloak of invisibility
And I let the young brother go free.
(Chorus)
Go, brother, I bid thee goodnight,
Go take your new cloak and go live out your life!
Be happy and healthy, and when you are ready,
You can take off your cloak and join me.
And that was the story of the Peverell brothers.
They each made their choice, one wiser than others.
They stripped me of wand and of cloak and of stone
And I bade young Ignacius: be selfless and roam
And many years passed till he called me his own!
But I took the other two for my own.
Amazing edit, love how it began and ended with Hermione reading :)
I got chills... This is amazing!!!!!
Where is the video with the Disney villains singing this song? I had the link to it but it seems the video was deleated or removed
That never happened. This is an original song about Harry Potter, you must be thinking of a different song.
Anyone else feeling of Kiss From A Rose by Seal vibes ?
The song together with the video is beautiful. The song itself is haunting and magical -- it sent chills down my spine.
This is so beautiful
hela lokis daughter :-D
Headcannon accepted!
anyone in 2021?
Sept. 2022
@@Dartkitten that's great
This is truly amazing.
Oh, my Gog.
I didn't realize so many fans had formed music groups.
I love Harry Potter.
So much.
I've been playing Hogwarts Mystery lately and there's a part where the deathly hallows play a part, and this song immediately came to mind! ❤
Amazing. I learned this on gituar! It's probably my faveorite wizard wrock! Ever!
That was hauntingly beautiful I've never listened to anything from The Butterbeer Experience before and I'm glad this was the first one I heard.
I cannot find my favorite version it had disney villians in it bu the same song. the link that i saved for it says its deleated.....like deleated on youtube it was more interesting
you know its a story from harry potter and that is in the 7th film?
They could realy use this Song in a Harry Potter or Newt Scamander-Movie. In the Background. Why not?
I never heard something beautiful like this!
This song is way too awesome. It's funny, this is like a more disturbing, wizarding version of the three little pigs, but with the pigs dying in the end.
Death and Voldemort disliked this.
can you reupload the best video of this song it had disney villians in it such as:
Jaffar as eldest brother
forggoten who second brother
Little Teen CLause from the life and adventures of santa clause : Youngest brother
Death was Mlfificent
why on earth would they do this!?! do you even know this is Harry Potter????
Why have I only just heard this!? Such a beautiful song!
💀🎶☠🎵👻
The Song of the Deathly Hallows.

This is brilliant! The song and the clip, both! I loved the stopry the first time I read it, but this ah my the Death looks beautiful!
This really should have millions of views
Is it wrong that for the eldest brother I was staring at his pointy chin and the second brother's hair?
So haunting yet perfect... it is amazing (and nice editing)
ITUNES?
Can someone pleeease tell me the chords! PLEASE?
I wondered what a fourth brother would have asked for...............................................(if assuming there is a 4th one that is....)
In all honesty, the only place I've found it is iTunes. You have to buy the entire album to get it... and the album is "Songs from Beedle the Bard" and comes with 5 different songs. Like I said, 4 of them you can buy separate for $0.99 each. The album together costs 9.99, and you have to get the album to get the song about the fountain of fair fortune.
@KNDSAINTSEIYA Thank you! first time someone actually compliments me like that because the living, breathing me is like Severus reincarnated I tend to have a very snarky attitude and I wont hesitate to use the sharp side of my tongue even to my school friends or parents when angry enough. My friends call me Severina
@JBlover613 I know right the first time I saw this video I had to do a double take 'cause I actually thought it really was in the original scene and now I cant imagine the movie without this song. Matter of fact I saw the DH part one last week with my cousin and when Mione was reading the tale this song was sounding in my mind.
Omg this makes me nostalgic
Ja man brudi
Warum sehe ich deinen Kommentar hier mr.Felix
NO WAY
it makes sence that voldemort is related to the eldest of peverell brother because the oldest was stupid and greedy because he wanted to win battles and voldemort is stupid (understament of the centry he is worse) and greedy
No, the first brother was Antioch, the Elder Wand dude. Also, the next one waz Cadmus, the 'arrogant man who thought he should humiliate death further, choosing the stone'. And then, the youngest, Ignatius
@XHufflepuffPrincessX
Yes and if you have read the sixth book, it tells us that Voldemort is related to the eldest of the Peverell brothers so Voldemort and Harry are sort of related in that sense
Sounds a lil bit like the theme song of Tuck Everlasting.
nahh, it was grindewald and he made dumbledore do it to because dumbledore is helplessly in love with him. *le sigh* Dumbledore, I thought you had a better judge of character.
my theory is this death killed the 2 brothers and assasin paid off the lady aka death moving on so with the second brother his beloved was death so he killed himself
I just hate the lyric "Death make me a tool." It disappoints me a bit. There are so many other things she could of said. But the song is amazing and I love it otherwise. ^_^
"And though I was reluctant he was the wisest of the three, so I gave him my cloak of invisibility.." Take out the 'thes' it sounds much better: "And though I was reluctant he was wisest of three, so I gave him my cloak of invisibility.."
"He was the wisest of three" kinda sounds better...
When you want to comment that there's 394 comments but that would change the number of comments
this tail contains a moral we all know and share about life death and power its a tail as old as death itself and has happen many times before with many new tails that will be told and others that will be soon be forgotten
They have. You just can't find it on youtube. But one of them, the fountain of fair fortune... I believe is about... 18 minutes long.

The story of the Peveral brothers and the deathly hallows

She was not really there like a shadow or ghost and the longing drove him mad and he killed himself to be with her
Traditionally 'fairy' tales were not for children. Look at the Grimms' Tales! A lot of them are very scary.
If you like this you'll like the Prince's tale ft. Christian Caldeira. It's one of my favorite wrock songs.
