This is a normal for IMT,engine transmission temperature becomes high when we continuously apply beaks.......But otherwise IMT transmission is heaven to drive..
Imt is just a manual transmission with auto clutch. We should change gear just like manual. In stop and go we should come to 1st gear as manual.
I am driving Sonet IMT for past 1 yr and following whatever you told at last in the video from day one. Never faced any issues.

If it's DCT then Altros is a better bet because it is with wet clutch technology. For long distance travel it will help a lot and there will not be any clutch related heating issues. The only issue is it's three cylinders set up and not for car enthusiasts.

I own iMT seltos driven long extensively and within city as well. There is not even a single issue I could find till now. Kia and Hyundai iMT is a perfect gem to drive. It might happened to you because of any other technical issue ? Was there enough coolant, engine oil, gear oil etc available during this issue ? Check with dealer during service. Never heard this complaint from any other user.
