bro genuinely makes the best deadlock vids out of anyone on UA-cam rn, nobody else showcases the character as well and goes into as much detail as Mast when it comes to character interactions and different builds. Go to man for anything Deadlock at this point
Uh.... Pocket ult applies a status condition to opponents that causes them to take damage over time. I just tested to make sure, but it definitely doesn't stack with itself, so using refresher to get double ult does literally nothing, except potentially allow your second usage to hit whatever members of the enemy team you might have missed the first time around. It doesn't even refresh the Diviner's Kevlar proc since that has a cooldown of it's own, and refresher has no effect on the cooldowns of items. So yeah, refresher is nice because it lets you spam your core 3 abilities some more, but does nothing as far as ult is concerned.
Escalating exposure would be more value probably, or echo shard maybe. Edit: scratch that I didn't know that escalating exposure doesn't work on his ult
Pretty funny that you think there's similarities because one ability does the same thing, but it's really not that complicated of an ability so you can't have a monopoly on simple ideas LMAO
@@slLveRd3M0n its made by the same company and their names are phonetically similar (puck, pocket) and its not just one ability but three that are rhe same (briefcase is like 2 of pucks abilities combine w/o silence.
@@skilletno1 its different development teams and 'puck/pocket' being an intentional similarity is an insane stretch, just like having 1 of the same ability and then 1 jumble of 2 similar abilities? Humans are good at making patterns, doesn't mean there are any.
@@slLveRd3M0n they’re clearly taking inspiration from dota spells, its not that deep dude, you dont have to agree but he literally has the same combo that puck has lol Skillshot nuke that doubles as a teleport beacon into aoe dmg with a save that makes you untargetable, pockets cloak and briefcase abilities are the same as pucks q w and e lol and with that lvl of similarity the names become less of a stretch lol Especially with the unreleased ‘slork’ character lol
You can also go into Pocket's 3 before teleporting with the 2. So if the 2 connects you can teleport while being in the 3 and basically LEGIT bomb them.
The minion heals is depends on who are close during it having the charge (the banner glow) if theres only 1 player and that player procs the heal, then its only 1 player that gets the heal; but if there are more players during the heal being ready, then its multiple player getting the heal, the heal charge is not separate per player. Extra stam to replace enduring spirit would be good, that or magic carpet to fix your mistakes.

i think the skill with pocket comes from not inting, when players are grouped and you don’t have good defensive items (divine kevlar) often you’ll tp in and then die before you can even press 4. pocket thrives in the mid game where people are still split but you can get good 3-4 man ults but he really struggles before you have movement items and when people just instantly kill you. I think saying pocket is a low skill character is a little disingenuous, an an ivy player i know low skill when i see it lol. He’s definitely very strong i just think Mast forgets how good he is haha
Now i wanna propose the dumbest strat ive cooked up but hear me out : magic carpet mo and krill, you can burrow before using it and fly on them in dig👍
Every content creator I've seen is jumping ship, or at least branching out. Hi Rez is imploding, and it's been a long time coming. Many people see the writing on the wall. I'm personally ecstatic I never have to deal with that terrible company ever again. Sorry to those who lost their jobs but the higher ups make some of the dumbest decisions in the industry, constantly. When I played the barebones of Smite 2, I was bored out of my mind, when I play the barebones of this game I cannot stop. Goes to show that the core gameplay loop of Smite is antiquated, and updating the engine isn't going to fix it. If you need 12 progression bars and battle passes to stay engaged, your game isn't actually good.
I played smite 2 again and wanted to switch games after 2 matches. Deadlock is superior in every way unfortunately. Even smite 1 is even in a better spot rn
@ewanmcc01 yea deadlock and smite aren't even the same genre so...I mean say what you want but it's more of an overwatch game /hero shooter than a MOBA
@@jagerwahl Deadlock is a MOBA, full stop. There are shooter fundamentals, but they won't get you far. I'd even argue it has more intense macro play than SMITE ever did, it's more similar to DotA macro. Anyone saying it's a hero shooter either hasn't played the game, or hasn't played enough to truly understand the game. By the way, still playing Deadlock, it's still incredible. I refunded my SMITE 2 founder's pack.
Hey Mast, I think it'd be great if you referred to Pocket by their preferred pronouns, I know it can be difficult to adapt to at first but it normalises respect and sends a message that your channel is not the place for xenophobes.

The main benefit of getting refresher on Pocket is when their entire team has debuff remover, other than that there isn't much point.

Echo shard on pocket is DIRTY much better than refresher 2 cloaks/2 suitcase. Its like so toolbox and makes his kit even more versatile and crazy
