God I remember devving cannons in the great board wars for /k/. While the designs I had were actually very, very useful and could launch tnt at a range of hundreds of blocks away and were small enough to hide anywhere, they couldn't be used because the management were utterly fucking terrible and /k/ was wiped out by /ck/ of all fucking things. Ended up defecting being the only person that survived that encounter. I dunno what it was about the cooking anons, but they could fucking fight.
2012: _"Warning! You are in range of enemy artillery!"_
Present-day: _"STRATEGIC LAUNCH DETECTED!"_
TNT minigun : suck my 2014, BROOOU!!
From an explosive catapult, to a cannon and to a missile.
I remember making the 2012 design on pocket edition before redstone was added so I'd have to manually light each TNT
Let's pay honorable mention to contraption that can strike anywhere with tens of tnt and one block precision to create massive vertical holes
All of these were impressive, great stuff.
And now we have tnt cannons that can send a tnt projectile anywhere in the world in a single game tick. Add that projectile digging a hole until bedrock and you can see how between 2022 and 2023 the progress has been huge.
Suddenly remembered those TNT cannons in Factions. I missed making those
We’ve easily had flying tnt rockets for at least 5 years. I can remember watching videos about them in highschool
damn i remember the time i made my first tnt cannon back on 2017 and now im learning more about redstone when it comes to weapons and now im currently making a bomber plane where the bombs are tnt minecart ( 18 bombs )
2023: cubicmetre's hyperbore
Just like real life, we've transitioned from cannons to missiles.
The only one I think is familiar is the first tnt cannon you showed me. But I also blew myself up in 2013, which counts as a canon. A creative person canon.
That missile reminded me of that missile wars map by sethbling back in 2014, wild how he managed to make missiles even without observers
2012: haha, cannon go boom
2022: ENEMY CRUISE MISSILE IMBOUND
Dude a huge wave of nostalgia went over me when I saw the og tnt launcher
I remember making the TNT spamming cannon to obliterate villages. Granted 1 out of 3 times I built one it instantly exploded but those were good times
Here in 2023 we've found out how to create orbital strikes
I would like to add one more the combat ICBM. It comes from above and drops tnt minecarts and then forms a wall when it hits the ground helping to heal in pvp.
Yeah, we just need that because that one is very popular.
And also the weaponize TNT is now increasing in development.
TNT cannon -> TNT canon with increased distance -> Missile TNT
Carpet bombers and world eaters as well
@@Imperial_Navy03 Ooo... Interesting
from cannons to missiles. Wowzer, art really _does_ imitate life, don't it?
Watching the 2012 tnt cannon was a BLAST to the past. I fondly remember making that and failing LMAO.
The invention of tnt minecart traps has been one of my favorite additions to Minecraft
Btw, I don't know if anybody made that gun, but still, I know the canon design with allows you to fire tnt with practically any speed, and any direction
I still remember Mumbo Jumbo making a Nuke in vanilla Minecraft; that thing *OBLITERATED* that fortified water-loo.
2023 saw people making smart weapons that can instantly nuke whole areas anywhere in the world
Seeing the old bucket texture just puts a smile on my face
Ah, the OG rail gun. That brings back some memories
I still remember a few of the older TNT cannons... The nostalgia...
