I hate the kit. The helmet anyway, because the big horn going straight down the middle looks too "on the nose" and not random and chaotic like flood transformations are. I honestly think having no tentacles coming from the face just makes the flood "look" incomplete. I know they can't have the spartan head hanging off the shoulder because it'll ruin hitboxes, but they genuinely could do a flood infection form popping out the upper torso like every flood enemy ever. It just looks like normal armour with acne. I know I'm being nit picky but i think you can understand.
It's cool, but I really really really ,hate the flood from a personal perspective , I know people like them and the variety they provide ..but man... Since CE I have hated them with burning passion

I was definitely disappointed that the Flood Armor isn't a single core or fully crosscore. And I would like more moving bits. The flood growth just seems so staticy its weird.
I think a flood core would also be cool integration with game modes. Imagine if everyone gets a flood core, and you play infection. Survivors have any other core, then when you die the game switches your player to the flood core.

I think it's weird they made a flood mark V B helmet twice. I think one of them was supposed to be the regular mark V helmet and the artist didn't realize until it was too late. The Mark V shoulders bundled with it further prove it.
Ok so adding more flood armor would be awesome and the robot concept armor would also be really cool plus with the robot armor they could try to attach it to flood lore by just saying that the unsc doesn’t want to lose live personnel
343 should finish the cutscenes for halo infinite and finish the story with you fighting the Flood! it would be an easy way to officially end the storyline wile still giving us the story for the flood. I think that would be 343's best way of ending the multiplayer storyline without completely scrapping it mid way through.

There is no floood theme in this game. Just some flood armor sets (2 of the 3) priced at like 20 bucks there is no feeling of flood in this season. We need the flood back as an enemy ai. In firefight or something. NOW THAT would be a true flood themed season.

I believe the countermeasures for the armor is 1) Seal the hydrostatic gel layer in the suit to prevent any spores 2) Severe the datalink and neural interface to the Spartan to prevent Flood cyber intrusion and 3) detonate the micro nuclear reactor used to power the Mjolnir shields and suit. According to the Intel, the first two countermeasures activated but the 3rd failed either by happenstance or (and more likely) the Flood stopped the reactor meltdown.
Which ... kind of strains credibility for a feral infestation to manage in the second or so it would take the suit. So I think they're implying a gravemind or at least a proto coordinating the infestation.

Nor la human combat froms were already jumping like 20+ feet through the air and we're strong enough that if the Chief wasn't careful they could have killed him. A spartan with that kind of strength amplification as well as having the flood repair them would be insane
I know in the re-release of Halo: The Flood book over 10 years ago, Frankie O'Connor left a message in it commenting on how more or less Halo wouldn't be Halo without the Flood and that the Flood was the glue that kept it all together. There's a lot to be said about that guy, but he was right on the money for that. Literally and figuratively.
it's so true. that's what made the original halo trilogy so great. that's what created a twist in the storyline of each game so that it wasnt several hours of the same content.
Halo CE, as a pure FPS, would never have become as big & memorable as it ended up being. The unexpected shift into a fairly well-balanced horror game is what sold the single-player IMO. That shift from "you are a power-armored supersoldier and the aliens are near-powerless to stop you" to "you are a power-armored supersoldier and you're *barely* surviving" was done *amazingly* well for the time that it was written. Such twists have become much more common in the past 22 years, but the buildup, pacing, and general uncertainty absolutely still hold their own.
It's pretty cool, bad it's behind a pay wall too high to buy it, i wouldn't mind paying like 4 or even 8 dollars just for the helmet piece or the chest but no, they had to put in a bundle, 343 needs to better their monetization in Halo Infinite, but in the end it is a great season let's hope for better stuff and full armor customizations.

Thank God I dont really care for the cosmetics that crazy. When I saw most of the flood skins are locked behind a paywall (and cost so goddamn much), I was just like "eh", and continue to enjoy whatever contents Infinite has and play tons of custom forge campaign, PVE, PvPvE, and Battle Royco
I like the concept but the redesigned flood I feel like doesnt look as nasty as the 1-3 Flood and all the tendrils being completely static just makes them look weird. If they added some slight movement or at the very least jiggle bones to the tendrils it would make it feel less weird
Im going to be honest. While the armor is super cool, and I am glad it is in the game, I really am not a fan of the aesthetic of the flood in infinite. I didn’t like the glowing orange pustules in hw2, and I dont like that that seems to be a continued aesthetic going forward. I also don’t like all the horn-like, calcified looking bits. In the og trilogy, the only hard bits on the flood were the tip of combat forms appendages, not all over the body. The flood is supposed to look like it is made up of decaying flesh, not chitin.. with the addition and overuse of the glowing orange pustules and hardened bits all over rather than sloppy, decayed flesh, the current flood aesthetic feels more reminiscent of the clickers from TLOU, or like Mint Blitz mentioned, the swarm from Gears of War. Like I said, I do think the armor pieces look super cool in their own right, and I’m glad they are in the game, but I don’t think the current aesthetic fits what The Flood is supposed to look like, and I really hope that if the flood ever returns in full form, that it won’t look like this, and will fit more in line with their classic vibe

Imagine this, Season 5 is themed around the flood, Firefight is added, Flood Firefight is a playlist (could literally just be reg firefight but all enemies have the flood death effect), you have various increasingly grindier or difficult challenges to go for throughout the season and the rewards are the various Flood infected Spartan armors. (kinda like how Fortnite does their event stuff) Boom, crazy season. Instead: $30 please for 2 sets of flood armor, and a battle pass with some armor in it $_$
The Flood is such an important part of Halo's story and lore so I'm glad to see it return in some form, and the skins are utterly repulsive (I mean that in the best possible way, the Flood is _supposed_ to be repulsive). Making the Halloween event centered around them is such a genius idea.
They function the same as Jackel Snipers with pinpoint accuracy. Just a lot more rare, though some can randomly spawn on the second to last level in Halo 2.
Was it the Halo 2 anniversary flood that had the split skull? I liked how that looked a lot. Hopefully the decide to do Spartan Ops again. Would love to see friends and mine characters in cutscenes

Personally, I hate 343's artstyle for the Flood but like the fact that they add Flood themed armor for S5. My only complaint is that they didn't use the pre-existing helmets that are available for mk-V B. It's no coincidence that the Flood armors are similar to that of Noble Team so it would've been cool to make infected versions of them.
I'd like to see them at least introduce flood enemies ( banished, popcorn, spartans, humans, ect. ) at least for forge as enemies you can spawn in maps. I want to see maps were while you and another team are duking it out, your gun fire can attracted roaming flood groups into fighting one or both of your teams. Imagine a flood themed level like Backwash from Halo 2 and having Flood rummage about. Just make sure if the game mode is something like Slayers, that killing Flood don't count as kills. People would probably farm them.
I bet almost 99% of halo fans miss the flood, and so many of us in the community have been thrilled to see this soft return. Imagine what the halo infinite campaign would’ve been under this new leadership… maybe there would’ve been a proper Flood storyline on Zeta halo.
I really hope they add flood A.i to forge at the very LEAST. It fits so well in Infinite’s movement, the way the flood lunge feet above you, jumping around
Please do more videos on the state if matchmaking and server issues. I have more games where someone drops (sometimes my own fireteam) than I do where there’s a whole 8. And the matchmaking has felt the least fair and widest spread MMR it’s ever felt. Love the sandbox, love the new content, but the back end feels atrocious this season.

Kits should be customizable and implemented into cross-core. It’s disappointing that these cosmetics are so expensive. They need to lower their prices. It would be better if the flood cosmetics were in an event.

Thank God I dont really care for the cosmetics that crazy. When I saw most of the flood skins are locked behind a paywall (and cost so goddamn much), I was just like "eh", and continue to enjoy whatever contents Infinite has and play tons of custom forge campaign, PVE, PvPvE, and Battle Royco
I like the concept but the redesigned flood I feel like doesnt look as nasty as the 1-3 Flood and all the tendrils being completely static just makes them look weird. If they added some slight movement or at the very least jiggle bones to the tendrils it would make it feel less weird

Im going to be honest. While the armor is super cool, and I am glad it is in the game, I really am not a fan of the aesthetic of the flood in infinite. I didn’t like the glowing orange pustules in hw2, and I dont like that that seems to be a continued aesthetic going forward. I also don’t like all the horn-like, calcified looking bits. In the og trilogy, the only hard bits on the flood were the tip of combat forms appendages, not all over the body. The flood is supposed to look like it is made up of decaying flesh, not chitin.. with the addition and overuse of the glowing orange pustules and hardened bits all over rather than sloppy, decayed flesh, the current flood aesthetic feels more reminiscent of the clickers from TLOU, or like Mint Blitz mentioned, the swarm from Gears of War. Like I said, I do think the armor pieces look super cool in their own right, and I’m glad they are in the game, but I don’t think the current aesthetic fits what The Flood is supposed to look like, and I really hope that if the flood ever returns in full form, that it won’t look like this, and will fit more in line with their classic vibe

I was hoping to ask you to talk more about SBMM in it's current state in the game and how it might be changed to "fix" multiplayer. I've been so excited ti get into season 5 but SBMM makes it soo difficult to enjoy the game. At this point I'm just waiting for firefight to come rescue me from this hell lol. Anyway, I would live to hear your thoughts on what could be done. Obviously 343 listens to you and your voice makes a difference. Please help us out. Thanks man!
Imagine this, Season 5 is themed around the flood, Firefight is added, Flood Firefight is a playlist (could literally just be reg firefight but all enemies have the flood death effect), you have various increasingly grindier or difficult challenges to go for throughout the season and the rewards are the various Flood infected Spartan armors. (kinda like how Fortnite does their event stuff)

Instead: $30 please for 2 sets of flood armor, and a battle pass with some armor in it $_$

The Flood is such an important part of Halo's story and lore so I'm glad to see it return in some form, and the skins are utterly repulsive (I mean that in the best possible way, the Flood is _supposed_ to be repulsive). Making the Halloween event centered around them is such a genius idea.
I wish they'd let you buy individual items in a bundle. I like the flood sniper rifle but not enough to justify buying the set.

They function the same as Jackel Snipers with pinpoint accuracy. Just a lot more rare, though some can randomly spawn on the second to last level in Halo 2.
Was it the Halo 2 anniversary flood that had the split skull? I liked how that looked a lot. Hopefully the decide to do Spartan Ops again. Would love to see friends and mine characters in cutscenes

Sadly I don't have premium cause I'm broke, this is awesome, cause I really love the flood, it was my childhood nightmare of an enemy. Just wish I could have premium for these or bought the battle pass, cause I would really enjoy being Infected.

That is a historically massive step in making the right choices for halo, KEEP THIS UP 343, PLEASE!
Personally, I hate 343's artstyle for the Flood but like the fact that they add Flood themed armor for S5. My only complaint is that they didn't use the pre-existing helmets that are available for mk-V B. It's no coincidence that the Flood armors are similar to that of Noble Team so it would've been cool to make infected versions of them.
I'd like to see them at least introduce flood enemies ( banished, popcorn, spartans, humans, ect. ) at least for forge as enemies you can spawn in maps. I want to see maps were while you and another team are duking it out, your gun fire can attracted roaming flood groups into fighting one or both of your teams. Imagine a flood themed level like Backwash from Halo 2 and having Flood rummage about. Just make sure if the game mode is something like Slayers, that killing Flood don't count as kills. People would probably farm them.
I bet almost 99% of halo fans miss the flood, and so many of us in the community have been thrilled to see this soft return. Imagine what the halo infinite campaign would’ve been under this new leadership… maybe there would’ve been a proper Flood storyline on Zeta halo.
I really hope they add flood A.i to forge at the very LEAST. It fits so well in Infinite’s movement, the way the flood lunge feet above you, jumping around
Please do more videos on the state if matchmaking and server issues. I have more games where someone drops (sometimes my own fireteam) than I do where there’s a whole 8. And the matchmaking has felt the least fair and widest spread MMR it’s ever felt. Love the sandbox, love the new content, but the back end feels atrocious this season.

Kits should be customizable and implemented into cross-core. It’s disappointing that these cosmetics are so expensive. They need to lower their prices. It would be better if the flood cosmetics were in an event.
