holy smokes, ok, 3:58 so i held my magnifying lens to my home wall until infinity (outside through the window) focused onto the wall. That's the real image because everything is beyond the focal point. Now I wanted to incorporate this video. So I held up a pencil in front of the lens, within the focal point (the object in this video) and sure enough, the pencil did not appear on the wall. Very cool!!! As an addendum, I noticed the window landscape dimmed a bit, and you talk about this in your video regarding covering part of the converging lens. My landscape remained, but got dimmer. That was reallllly really cool to see in real life too since I was having trouble with that concept.
