i think something was wrong with seewer cuz he was taking very poor line choices and his corner speed was very slow

His "inside lines" are all wrong
I agree. Riding way to defensive too early. Cost him at least two positions. Outside entry to inside exit and opening up the track allowing the bike to flow is what everyone who passed him did.
All of his lines were bad. One of the jumps he had 75 yards to prepare for and he still hits it at the hairline right edge, and when he landed he almost landed off the track. Many stupid mistakes were made. This is an example of a "good rider" with a bad mental frame. He can handle a bike just fine, but he doesn't have the mindset to be a racer
I'll give him a break in the lines might have been looking for grip. But something seemed hitched in the exits.
