Their live music is always the best.... You get the raw feelings and emotions. This album, "Live in Texas", "Argue with a Tree" and "Live in Manchester" is by far the best albums!
Definitely concert of concerts for them. Two nights of filming. I went the first night. Longest set list I've ever seen them do (I've been to 7 concerts). Blue is Texas royalty and this was the holy grail of Blue shows.
Their live shows are always amazing! They never let us down. First concert to the last- always spot on.
I've been to about 10 shows and they've all been this amazing. I did a smaller, acoustic, intimate show and you could seriously see his molars from how deep he gets into his music. It's nothing but passion and greatness from him and the band.
This is the concert of concerts. It was 2 nights to film the 'Things we do at night' concert DVD. And it was amazing! Anytime you can see them in Texas is fantastic as that is their home state, but I have seen them all over and they never disappoint!
Thanks for doing Blue October reactions. They’re my favorite band. I saw them perform here in Los Angeles and it was amazing. Their energy and performance is amazing. Can’t watch this one without a tear 😅😢. More please! 🤘🏻🎸
They are amazing live, but as for Texas, that is their home state so the concert had a strong fanbase and budget to do the show justice. Sometimes though, all you need is Justin, an acoustic guitar and a simple camera to get utter gold.
Since you two started doing Blue October, I’ve been waiting for this one. It’s my favorite song of theirs (hits home like for so many people in tough coparenting situations). Thank you, and thanks to Matt! Love you guys. ❤
Blue October is so dynamic and powerful. You guys are all ready for rock n roll… and within 20 seconds he’s got you sucked in. They are from Houston, they always end their tours in Houston. These guys are the Kings of Emo Rock. Because it’s not about a label for them. They just bring the raw emotions whatever that is.
I’ve seen them live three times, once being fully acoustic. I can say they are impeccable live. Not one missed note or flaw. It is an experience like no other…and I have seen a lot of live bands.

Thank you Wolf Hunterz for Blue October, Alter Bridge and from Jon and Dolly Florence and the Machine. I'm sure there are more but that's my top 3 I had no clue about. The Live in Texas Album is the highest quality live album with video.
If you want the backstory of these songs, you can listen to Justin’s solo acoustic albums. He started what is called the Open Book Tour where he shared stories and signs acoustic versions of his catalog.

This song breaks me everytime. Ex Wife moved across country after the divorce back to her family, going from having my world every second of everyday to a couple of months a year , the slow separation of love from my children. Every time I drive back to Texas after dropping them off at their moms, this song destroys me because every word is how I feel in my soul.
That 2015 Concert has one (if not the best) best performances I have watched/listend to. It's 100 times better than their Studio Versions.

THE CALLING MUSIC REACTION.
The official music video is touching. I typically do not like live version of most songs. The part that bothers me is in most states an ex can get away with this kind of crap. If a guy blocked a mother from seeing their child they would be in jail. Same with child support. A women will NEVER go to jail for failure to pay child support, but in most states they will throw the dad in jail in a heartbeat. Typically the father has to fight tooth and claw to get something like joint custody and it is near impossible for a father to have full custody. I did but that was only because my ex was worthless and gave me joint custody without a fight and then when she got a new boyfriend less than 2 years later she completely abandoned he 3 kids (5, 7, and 9 at the time). I never got a penny for child support. The Friend of the Court never even required her to pay.

I lost my home in 2019. It has been a real struggle trying to get my feet back under me, but I am doing everything I can and working hard. During the time I spent homeless and living out of motels, my ex took my daughter and moved out of state. I talk to her as much as I can, but I work night shift so I sleep during the day and she has school so she can't really talk when I get off work. I constantly remind her that I am ok, that she doesn't need to worry about me, and that one day I will be stable enough to get her back out here with me. This is my favorite Blue October song because it resonates so hard for me and the line "I might have been gone, but I never walked out" always makes me tear up.
I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. When i hear about moms taking the kid and moving far away it breaks my heart. Dad’s are just as important and it’s not great to split up a child and dad. Ofcourse if he is dengerous it’s a different story. But in most cases it’s not that. I hope you get to spend more time with your kid soon. It’s not fair.
@@karrisneipen Thank you. I'm actually starting to get back on the right track now. I've been working to improve my credit score and just got it in range to qualify for a veterans home loan. I just need to pay off some of my debts to get my income to debt ratio better and within the next couple years I should be able to buy my own home. Once I get that in place I can petition to get my daughter back.
@@willgilbert87 seems like in the US it's easy to fall and hard to get back up. One hospital stay and most of you would be in trouble. And then alot of jobs don't pay enough. Here in Norway nobody need to be homeless. We get help before it get to that. And alot of jobs are payed so much better. If we get sick we can stay at home untill we are well. If you are sick for one year the employer are allowed to fire you. I wish the road would be alot shorter for you, but you will get there 👍 and when she's grown and see how hard you fought to be with her she will be proud. I feel for you, such a hard thing to go through.

You dont even know justin furstenfeld is such a great song writer that the women who wrote the twilight books said she listened to blue octobers album foiled during the writing oh those books to get that lonely feeling of a hopeless relationship with a person...and justin furstenfeld the lead singer song writer did alot of acoustic shows with her at her book readings...there are videos of the shows....but yeah he is an amazing song writer...
