i'm sri lankan tamil born and living in switzerland and i knew all the animal names in tamil. we went only one day per week to tamil school and speak tamil with our parents at home, that's enough to not forget how to speak and understand a language. european living tamil ppl who live in not-english-speaking country speak perfectly tamil, you can check 😉

tamil is very important. I started losing touch with tamil awhile back and I am not proud of that. I have started reading more in tamil and speaking more. Tamil is my language and I am very proud to represent the oldest language out there. When foreigners are learning tamil why should we forget it. Be proud of who you are, be proud to speak your language

I just realized one thing from this video I thought tamil language is spreding every wher in the world to get back to older days. But the language is diying many peoples doesn't speak tamil that much even tamils to tamils use English . I'm a sri lankan malay but my favorite language is tamil.

Yes but to only a certain extent cuz in malaysia it is not compulsory for tamilians to learn tamil as their 2nd language but in Singapore it is.But yea i do agree that currently tamil is much more widely spoken in malaysian indian families.(By saying that I'm not saying that Singapore indians totally do not speak tamil but just saying that the numbers are relatively lesser)

@@onemangooo8514 although it is compulsory in Singapore that must learn mother tongue language...but when see the implementation...we can say that no success at all...80-90% tamilians fluent in English than Tamil...when there is not compulsory in Malaysia...that makes Malaysian Indian feeling insecure...so they try hard to learn their language and protect it....when the things is compulsory and not compulsory... U can differentiate their attitude towards their language...especially in multiracial country...
