My last name is whittingham and I was doing research on my last name and I came across the whittingham mental asylum in Lancaster ( less than an hour away from Liverpool which is where I'm from) and I was looking at pictures and it's the original mental asylum Joe went to ( I think so) and the church is called St John's and it's part of it and it has some dodgy background like accounts of abuse and stuff and was once the largest hospital in britain and I think it's the one Joe went to and I just thought that was interesting 🙃 ( also I could be wrong just going by pictures that where associated with it)
