Raced 14 GTs, is a programmer and computer wiz, has the most aero position, fooled me for the longest time that he was wearing shorts and a jersey, has handmade shoes which are the lightest in the circuit, and often grabs a beer from fans during races. What a man.

On a side note, why don't we see more riders in TT suits if that's allowed? Aren't they by far the most aerodynamic cycling clothing?
No pockets. Try doing 150-200km with no food, gels etc.
Some riders run sprinter suits, also like tt suits. Tt suits dont have pockets is why not everyone uses them.
Sprint suits are basically TT suits but with pockets

This is one of the best of all of the amazing videos on GCN - it just goes to show that managing 15 Grand Tours straight is more than just about the legs, Mr Hansen is clearly a total legend!
I'm surprised more riders aren't using the 12-gel holder, that seems like a super useful piece of kit.

I'd read some interviews and write-ups with and on Adam Hansen before and thought he could be a bit of a jerk, but I'll be darned if he's not a lovely, lovely, extremely cool guy. I hope we see more of him! Maybe that Cavendish vs. Hansen Rubik's race?

Gels in a bottle or pouch is a great idea, i have done it for ages. Make your own gels from maltodextrin + fructose fruit juice, electrolytes, and customize ingredients and concentration.
My favorite part of this video was watching Dan try not to laugh when he unpacked the 5 kilometers of different cables.
Great video of one of the most interesting pro riders in the peleton. Respect that he can ride and suffer for so many years and tours. He must be really loving the sport because he has enough money on the bank to sit back and relax and buy some nice Porsches to do all the work on the road.

This guy is brilliant! So many cool little ideas that I'm surprised they all don't do. Lightweight radio is very clever, the gel tube is great as is mixing BCAA's in it, might try that myself and going to give that green stuff a try as I don't eat enough veg! Can't we see more of him please :)
