I like that Romney keep saying this is an issue where one side shouldn't impose its will upon someone else - and fail to realize that's exactly what's happening when abortion is suddenly an issue for lawyers, judges, magistrates, doctors and lastly - maybe - the pregnant woman.

I'm pro-life. Babies should never be aborted for convenience. There are many good family's out there that would adopt and take great care over them....On the other hand a woman has a right to life when her doctor determines full term pregnancy would put her in great risk or possible death.

I actually see this as a symptom of a larger problem! I don’t think we are attracting well qualified people to run our cities, states, and country! For instance, just because you’re an attorney doesn’t automatically qualify you to be a politician! In fact, it seems that attorneys end up being the worst politicians wouldn’t you agree? Furthermore a soldier doesn’t automatically qualify you to be a police officer! My message to political leaders is Donald Trump serve four years in the oval office, because Americans despise their politicians so much that they voted for anyone that wasn’t a politician! Donald wasn’t qualified to run a country, a reality star maybe! I doubt he would’ve passed any type of a mental health test done by a professional. We need to start attracting well, qualified, decent people to run our country! Joe Biden is an example of a honest decent well qualified leader. People say that Biden is too old...yet Trump is only 3 yrs short of him. I'm 76 myself but my best friend who is 66 is in a nursing home. No one can predict the future. They need to stop with the age blaming. I know that it's strategic... but think about the average age turn out of the people who do exercise their right to vote in U.S election and its not within the age bracket of between 18-30. When some one calls me old( and they do that in my family quite often) I would tell them these days with what they consume that they'd be lucky if they'd get to live up to this age.

Medical decisions should be up to Doctors not the courts.
As a human, I would hold grudge against Trump too, if I had been personally insulted in some way. I simply do not like being insulted personally, regardless of national interests or other standards. As a human personal interest always comes first. It is very understandable.

Romney is good to hear from in these days, but he is dead wrong on an important point: there is no way that Trump is leaving the White House once he's in again. Leaving would mean opening himself up to legal jeopardy again. That's a risk he is not going to take. As soon as McCain announced that he had picked Palin, my immediate thought was “He just lost the election.” (Palin- “I have great foreign policy experience because I could see Russia from Alaska!” SCARY). I read that McCain said before he passed that he regretted picking Palin and wished he would have chosen Joe Lieberman- that would have been a great ticket and in my opinion would be the type of ticket that would be great for the country RIGHT NOW- both parties represented in the White House which could help to unite what has become a very divided country thanks to NUTJOB NARCISSIST TRUMP.

Although that would have been a smarter choice on McCains part, it still wouldn’t have made a change in the outcome. Given that we are in an age of technology and now Artificial Intelligence. It is best to have a voting system with enough checks and balances as was suggested before. This way it leaves no doubt as to who the people choose PLEASE.
Remember, AI is not the Almighty speaking Truth; it is the programmer and team that created it. And the US already has accurately performed and reported elections on the whole. There are exceedingly few exceptions and errors. By volunteering for one's local Election Day, citizens can see it live 😊.

Romney's decision to retire from office is regrettable, his opinion regarding President Biden and his administration's many successes and blaming the high rate of Inflation falls other than Republican typical political diatribe. All economic indicators have been very strong and our position Internationally has returned to the free world leader. Romney is always respectful when he speaks, one irony is that as Governor of Massachusetts put in place a comprehensive health care plan that essentially became the blue print for "Obama Care," officially now also known as " The Affordable Care Act." No doubt he loves our Great Country, and he will be missed.
